Job Description:

• Establish and develop new business opportunities with potential shipbuilder clients for adoption of the company's HVAC products in their new vessels
• Expand network connections with potential clients such as ship owners, ship managers, ship brokers and other players in the maritime industry to increase new business.
• Follow up closely with existing clients and provide after sales and repair services to their vessels.
• Make cold calls, visit potential clients for meetings, and conduct presentations on the company's products to meet targets and increase sales revenue
• Handle client inquiries, respond to emails and liaise with clients and distributors
• Update sales forecast, prepare quotations and invoices
• Promotion of new products from HQ and increase sales revenue in Singapore
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management

Job Requirements:

• Preferably 5 years or more sales experience in the maritime industry
• Strong understanding of the maritime industry landscape
• Product and market knowledge of HVAC and air-conditioning products is a plus
• Understanding of Japanese corporate culture, integrity, self-management
• Ability to comprehend company policies and plan activities accordingly
• Proficiency in Japanese is to communicate with the Japanese speaking technical members in Japan HQ

Job Position: Sales Executive

We are currently looking for a committed Sales Executive to support Senses expansion plan. This role will be reporting to the business development director.

Key duties and responsibilities

Reporting to the Business Development Director with assigned tasks to achieve agreed business targets

Strengthen Business relationship & maintain high customer intimacy with current clients and expand account base

Develop account strategy internally for key customers to identify growth opportunities with the account

Manage project and work closely with technical team

Partner with operation team to ensure customer satisfactions in terms of services and supply

Any other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

Min Diploma in chemistry or relevant field

Class 3 driving license (Company car will be provided)

Preferred at least 2-3 years of relevant experience in chemical or manufacturing industry.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Comfortable working in an aromatic environment

Proficient in the Microsoft Suite Applications (Excel, Words, Power Point) and good presentation skills

Preferred Skills/Competencies:

Creative problem-solving skills and ability to work with strict deadlines

Knowledge and application of sales techniques such as building rapport needs/values selling, negotiating, and closing the sale.
