As the Senior Manager for Consulting & Projects, you will develop persuasive consulting proposals to secure new business and ensure the timely delivery of projects for healthcare clients. Additionally, you will lead business development efforts and manage various VentureBlick service offerings in the innovation space, such as incubation and acceleration programmes for government agencies.
1. Consulting Services
- Review and analyse client requirements or challenges and assist in developing proposals with a focus on tech scouting, expert insights, and medtech market access services.
- Lead efforts to support the global team in developing consulting methodologies and presentation formats
- Create and structure reports, presentations, workshops, and other client deliverables based on client requirements.
- Lead or guide the global team in delivering client reports and presentations tailored to client needs.
- Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to clients.
- Proactively manage project timelines and maintain daily communication with clients and team members to ensure project success.
2. Innovation Services & Project Management
- Provide support in constructing acceleration programmes for government agencies as required. Design, plan, and manage cross-border acceleration programmes for healthcare startups.
- Facilitate connections between startups and global key stakeholders, including clinicians, investors, corporate partners, and government agencies.
3. Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Support the leadership team in capturing new business opportunities within the healthcare ecosystem for all our business offerings.
- For consulting projects, collaborate with SMEs, corporates, and investment firms to deliver tech scouting, expert insights, and medtech market access services.
- For innovation services, collaborate with overseas government agencies to design and implement acceleration programs in the healthcare sector.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree would be a plus
- 8-10 years in a healthcare-focused consulting firm, healthcare practice of a management consulting firm, or an internal corporate strategy role at a medical device company.
- Previous experience with medical device companies, ideally in a role with P&L responsibility.
- Proven track record of success in prospecting, pitching, and winning new healthcare consulting clients
- Experience with incubators, accelerators, and international government connections in the innovation space is a plus.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare medical device landscape, including healthcare providers, payers, regulatory environment, and industry challenges.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement creative solutions.
