Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice on the distribution and sale of WPB Insurance products through third-party channels such as bancassurance partners, brokers, and financial advisors.
• Draft, review, and negotiate distribution and partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with risk management frameworks.

Requirements:

• Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience, including at least 3 years in a reputable international or Singapore law firm.
• Strong experience in insurance or banking documentation, with excellent drafting skills.
• Extensive experience in commercial transactions, particularly regarding confidentiality, data privacy, competition law, and consumer protection.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance law and regulations in Singapore, with exposure to cross-border laws in Asia being a plus.
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including business and risk teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to prioritize, and adapt to new ideas and ways of working.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
