• Responsibilities: You will be based in our Medical Communications division, and your work will focus on the detailed analysis and creative presentation of clinical trial data for a diverse range of clients, including leading pharmaceutical and medical technology companies, as well as patient and public health bodies and charitable organisations

About the Role

The Medical Writer and Analyst positions are ideal for those with experience in scientific research and for enthusiastic recent graduates in the sciences who are seeking the opportunity to be part of a growing team. You will be based in our Singapore office working in our Asia-Pacific team, as well as collaborating with colleagues from our UK and US teams.

Medical Writers and Analysts work on projects involving the detailed analysis of data from clinical trials and the assimilation and creative presentation of this analysis in different formats including posters, slide sets, value dossiers, reports and peer-reviewed publications. These deliverables are used directly by our clients in communication with external stakeholders instrumental to the successful uptake of novel therapies. The work is structured on a project-by-project basis and you will usually be working on several projects in different disease areas at any one time.

You will work in project teams alongside experienced colleagues in both the Singapore UK and US offices who provide one-to-one training in the technical aspects of the role, including project management and effective client communication. Delivering project work requires close collaboration with clients and, following a successful induction period, you will increasingly engage in teleconferences and face-to-face meetings with external stakeholders.

Positions are available for those looking for an entry-level role as well as those with some prior experience. We are looking for ambitious individuals with the potential to progress rapidly into more senior roles involving greater project management and client responsibility.

Requirements

We are looking for individuals who are collaborative, self-motivated and enthusiastic, with a passion for scientific writing and an interest in providing a great service to clients. Positions are available for those looking for an entry-level role in the field as well as those with some prior experience.

Essential requirements for the role are:

• A degree level or higher qualification in a scientific discipline (minimum CAP or GPA 4/5 or equivalent). We welcome applications from candidates with a diverse range of specialisms, including but not limited to; biology, chemistry, pharmacy and medicine
• An excellent written and spoken fluency in English in order to deliver high quality scientific materials in English for clients in the Asia-Pacific region
• An ability to communicate scientific materials clearly in both written and oral form
• An excellent understanding of and ability to apply scientific concepts
• A close attention to detail
• An aptitude for and experience of scientific writing which could include dissertations, research summaries, lab reports, poster or oral presentations, peer-reviewed scientific publications, book chapters, grant applications, regulatory documents, and articles for websites or student magazines
• A competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• An exceptional level of organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage your time and meet deadlines

No previous experience in this sector is necessary, but you should display a genuine interest in healthcare and an eagerness to learn about new areas of clinical science. Applicants with higher-level qualifications in a scientific discipline are welcomed but this is not a requirement.

The Trading Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting the company’s analysis of refined products. This position involves providing comprehensive analytical support to the organization and collaborating closely with traders, risk manager, and other key stakeholders. The analyst will ensure accurate valuation and risk assessment of the organization's refined products positions, contributing to informed decision-making and effective risk management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide analysis and insights on refined products such as Gasoline, Middle Distillate, Fuel Oil, etc..
• Track global refined products markets, and monitor price movements, premiums, spreads, and key market indicators to identify potential trading opportunities
• Evaluate and forecast global and regional refined products demand and supply based on factors such as economic growth, refinery turnaround, cargo movements, government policies, etc..
• Record deals into the trading system and maintain daily monitoring and reporting of market, credit, and operational risks.
• Compile market reports, maintain and update databases.
• Carry out and support other duties assigned by the Company.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in International Trading, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in trading, and market analysis within oil and gas trading company.
• Proficiency in trading platforms, data analysis tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suits.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively and maintain trust and integrity within a team.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the Subject Matter Expert for the Supply Chain Finance platform and ecosystem, providing support to bank users.
• Oversee the end-to-end management of production incidents and service requests related to the Supply Chain Finance platform, including tasks such as ticket creation, hosting weekly progress meetings for unresolved issues, and coordinating data extraction with internal teams.
• Provide in-depth support and troubleshooting for production incidents related to the Supply Chain Finance platform, coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders to conduct impact analysis, develop workarounds, and perform root cause analysis.
• Work with the System Owner / Incident Manager to build on the Operational Knowledge Base / incident process management focusing on Supply Chain Finance ecosystem.
• Responsible for the creation and maintenance of documentation, working with project teams to gather knowledge on new enhancements and releases within the Supply Chain Finance ecosystem.
• Responsible for validation of the platform after any scheduled / unscheduled patching of the Supply Chain Finance ecosystem.
• Manage the platform and coordinate with internal stakeholders during Disaster Recovery exercises.
• Execute system configuration changes related to the Supply Chain Finance platform.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or Economics.
• A minimum of 9 years of experience in application or system support, preferably within the finance industry.
• Strong functional knowledge of Supplier Finance, Accounts Receivables Purchase, and Dynamic Discounting products, including middle office and back-office operations like funding and payments.
• Familiarity with the Finshare Platform developed by Premium Technology.
• Experience in supporting enterprise applications, collaborating with various functions (developers, infrastructure, service desk), and working with business users.
• Solid understanding and proficiency in scripting languages such as DOS and Shell scripting.
• Demonstrate sound judgment when reviewing problems and making recommendations or decisions.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, committed to delivering high-quality work within set deadlines.
