Job Role: Sales & Event Operation Manager
Job description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales & Event Operation Manager to join our team at E8 Connections. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, coordinating event planning, and ensuring flawless execution of various events. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, sales acumen, and impeccable organizational skills to successfully manage and deliver memorable events for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Management:
· Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
· Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients, sponsors, and partners.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns to drive event attendance.
2. Event Planning:
· Oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of events, including conferences, seminars, product launches, and corporate gatherings.
· Work closely with clients to understand their event objectives, budget constraints, and expectations.
· Develop detailed event timelines, budgets, and production schedules.
3. Team Leadership:
· Build and lead a high-performing event operations team, including event coordinators, planners, and support staff.
· Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure the team is well-equipped to deliver exceptional events.
4. Vendor Management:
· Source and negotiate contracts with various vendors, including venues, catering services, audio-visual providers, and transportation companies.
· Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure high-quality and cost-effective services.
5. Logistics and On-Site Management:
· Coordinate logistics for events, including setup, registration, catering, and audio-visual requirements.
· Lead on-site event management, addressing any issues that may arise and ensuring a seamless experience for attendees.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
- Proven experience in sales and event management, with a track record of successful events.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
