Role Summary

Part of our client’s Wealth Management function, the position is created to handle Application Production Support (APS) of Internet Banking activities. Candidate will play a major role in handling Incidents, BAU service requests and Application Support activities in shifts.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 Application support to Front Office users.
• Adhere to Service Level objective target.
• Ensure adherence to APS support roster in terms of mailbox, webportal and hotline.
• Should take part in 24/7 production support (i.e Shifts/Weekend/Public holidays).
• Escalate timely to Head of APS on possible risks, escalation matters and management issues.
• Review and create application Support knowledge articles.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement plan.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or relevant fields.
• More than 5 years of overall IT experience.
• More than 1 year of experience as L2 support.
• Analytical and Problem-solving skills .
• Excellent communication skills along with a customer/user-centric mindset.
• Willingness to continually update and enhance skills in systems and processes through own efforts and trainings.
• High level of persistence, can-do attitude & pro-activeness.
• Intermediate proficiency in ITIL practices, Unix OS, SQL, Middleware (Tomcat, MQ) and Software Architecture.
• Basic proficiency in Kubernetes, Autosys or any scheduling sytem, Shell or Python, Jira and Service Now.
• Experience in Private Banking or Asset Management (Plus).
• ELK (Plus).
• Kubernetes certification (Plus).

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks
• Liaise with staff in overseas factories and prepare technical product drawings for marketing purposes such as proposal cut sheets, installation drawings, user guides & instruction manuals
• Prepare technical product specifications/drawings for the purchasing team to communicate with the supplier and liaise with the supplier whenever technical information is requested
• Prepare multiple versions of designs for review by engineers and architects
• Document and file on 2D and 3D product drawings & renderings
• Implement changes to engineering drawings when necessary
• Other ad-hoc job duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• 1-2 years of relevant working experience
• Completed minimum 1-year working/industrial attachment experience in construction-related or technical product field is a bonus
• Hold a minimum qualification of a Higher Nitec/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Design Engineering or equivalent
• Have prior technical experience in using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Rhino 3D candidates without formal qualifications will be considered
• Other software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, 3D Max, Revit (BIM), and SAP is an added advantage
• Be able to read architectural, structural, ID, and M&E trading drawings

Your new role

• Act as the focal point of contact between the customer and the Company
• Work with and offer assistance to the parent company’s Customer Support Department in supporting the Company’s clientele
• Provide professional support to customers in relation to the Company’s service, trading platforms and other relevant applications
• Provide trading data and clarification on the platform’s trading information to customers
• Provide clarifications to customers (e.g. terms of business of the Company, complaint form etc.) where such information was not understood by the customer during the online customer account opening registration process
• Liaise between the Compliance department and/or the Back-Office Function and the customer in relation to the due diligence procedures at the account opening stage (KYC procedures)
• Request and obtain from customers the necessary identification and due diligence documents if these are deemed incomplete or inadequate for the onboarding process
• Receive customer inquiries and complaints and ensure customer complaints are referred to the Compliance Manager in an orderly and timely manner

• Experience in Linux OS, unix command and shell scripts
• Experience in using AzureDevOps and/or git repository and git commands
• Good communication skills and ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.

• Deliver technical support to customers for UPS and DC Systems and Battery.
• Liaise with end-user on-site for Installation, Commission, repair/maintenance.
• Conduct training sessions for customers on the startup and operational procedures of UPS and DC Systems.
• Monitor maintenance contracts and ensure that work is conducted promptly and within the agreed timelines.
• Collaborate closely with customers and engineers to ensure that site work is conducted safely.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in UPS and DC Power environment.
• Able to travel Asia in short notice.
