Key Responsibilities

• Handle local Customer's Airfreight and Seafreight enquiries.
• Handle overseas agents’ Airfreight and Seafreight enquiries.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Establish standardized processes for the entire life cycle of supplier access, assessment, and elimination, and follow up on subsequent supplier contract signing and renewal.

2. Manage the supplier pool, maintain good and stable cooperation relationships with existing suppliers, and introduce high-quality new suppliers as needed for departmental business.

3. Assist superiors in optimizing procurement processes and rules, including but not limited to the formulation of cooperation mechanisms, rules, and processes, and coordinate with other departments of the logistics center to optimize cooperation processes.

4. Complete other work arrangements requested by superiors.

Basic Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree or above in full-time education, with more than 3 years of experience in the logistics industry.

2. Experience in supplier management, mature systematic supplier management methods; experience in managing logistics suppliers in large-scale manufacturing industries is preferred.

Client Communication: Communicate with clients via phone or email to provide updates on shipments, and resolve issues related to transportation and delivery.

Position Summary :

The Systems Engineering Manager is first and foremost a team manager and responsible for leading his team to the completion of engineering tasks within committed budgets, schedules and performance for successful bid and project delivery, through well-executed Work Package Management.

• Participate in the production’s first article inspection (FAI) and the Internal Product acceptance

Support Supply Chain Management / Logistics to ensure that logistics services are provided timely and with the expected quality and to achieve operational excellence by working closely with internal Business Partners, the Procurement Service Platform (PSP), suppliers and other relevant internal and external parties.

• Ensure that relevant systems are updated with required information regarding logistics services.
• Drive operational excellence with the support of the PSP by making use of procurement automation tools like outline agreements to minimize manual work.
• Support Supply Chain Management / Logistics in the handling of issues and claims with suppliers and affected internal Business Partners, escalate issues if required, and ensure that the performance of suppliers is considered during future negotiations and tenders.

Supplier Relationship Management

Actively manage the portfolio of suppliers for logistics services in Country, strengthen partnership with key suppliers, and continuously manage supplier performance.

• Manage approval of new suppliers based on general and country-specific requirements by aligning with internal Business Partners, EHS, Supply Chain and other relevant internal and external parties
• Pro-actively build up new suppliers in line with relevant category strategies to enable them to meet BASF’s standards and requirements (e.g. WSA, RSA) in future, ensure reliable supply at competitive prices and manage supply and price risks
• Address sustainability topics to protect BASF’s reputation and reduce business risks from non-compliance with environmental, social or governance (ESG) standards
• Regularly evaluate or support Supply Chain Management / Logistics, respectively, in the evaluation of the supplier performance based on suitable KPIs for delivery, quality and compliance to internal and external regulations based on available information sources (NCM, feedback from internal Business Partners, etc.), document the results of the performance evaluation and implement countermeasures if necessary.

Ensure that all procurement activities compliant with relevant policies, procedures and documented properly to achieve excellent and consistent quality of work results, avoid compliance issues, and allow for traceability of actions.

Main Responsibilities

E-Commerce Operations

• Communication bridge between HQ/Brands and Operations team to ensure all requirements from Brands are met in actual operation.
• Urgency and accountability when solving critical issues relating to e-commerce order fulfillment or customer satisfaction.
• Ensure a healthy stock level for all packaging materials by reviewing and giving the green light for weekly replenishment, ordering new stocks if needed, and coordinating with Supply Planners or Brands on the incoming stock date.
• Organize monthly updates from Brands and communicate to the Operations team in a timely, precise, accurate, and concise manner.
• Subject matter expert for engraving to ensure HQ, Brands, and Operations are aligned.
• With an understanding of the end-to-end process for e-commerce orders, tackle requests or improvements with critical, creative thinking, ensuring esteemed brand image, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Purchasing

• Understanding procurement flow: RFQ, quotation comparison, negotiation, PO, DO, and Invoice.
• Understanding of payment terms and Inco terms.
• Issue PO for purchases initiated by Brands or e-commerce packaging materials.
• Coordinate closely with Brands, Suppliers, the Singapore shipping team, and Operations on the ordering and shipment of all PO items.

Warehouse Stock Segregation

• Evaluate the feasibility of requests and execute those requests by giving clear instructions to all stakeholders involved.
• Maintain all resources related to Warehouse Stock Segregation and ensure all files are up-to-date with accurate information.
• With an in-depth understanding of the Warehouse Stock Segregation methodology, provide suggestions to stakeholders when they have inquiries on order fulfillment.
• Continuously improve resources and working files based on users’ feedback.

Warehouse Scorecard and Display

• Ensure timely communication of the latest slides for the Safety Notice Board to the Warehouse Executive.
• Update M-1 warehouse KPIs in the scorecard file before the monthly meetings.

Projects

• Initiate and lead projects that increase capacity and productivity, decrease cost, and/or improve quality.
• Provide timely project progress updates to key stakeholders and project sponsors.
• Actively search for and suggest solutions that are sound and has a reasonable ROI.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish and write company policies and procedures to comply with Country Customs and other governmental agency requirements for import and export activities.
• To interface with the relevant Customs Department, Freight Forwarder and Vendors in order to meet the shipping schedule and target achievement.
• Provide oversight and review of production contract application and closure processes in conjunction with country Finance and Materials department.
• Ensure the import and export activities are monitored and reviewed for accuracy and in compliance with country laws and regulations, rules, policies and procedures.
• Provide training on country customs requirements and procedures of country import and export activities to all appropriate company departments and personnel.
• Establish and maintain the level of relationship with country governmental agencies responsible for foreign trade and customs required to communicate the company commitment to compliance with all applicable governmental laws, regulations, rules, policies and procedures.
• Ensure that country governmental agencies responsible for foreign trade and customs are provided with the level of information about the company that they require to perform their functions and formalities.
• Monitors proposed changes in import and export rules, policies, procedures, regulations and laws and assess the impact for those proposed changes on the Company business.
• Ensure that company policies and procedures reflect any changes in country customs laws, regulations, rules, policies and procedures.
• Interface with Corporate logistics team to resolve issues associated with shipment out to the respective countries, ensuring best shipmen routing is well executed and to monitor the performance through indicators and metrics.
• Establish company standards of service providers (freight forwarder, customs brokers, trucking company etc) retained to assist with the supply chain.
• Manage and coordinate activities and services provided by Company agents to ensure that all documentation and services provided are accurate and maintain the standards required by Company.
• Delegates and organizes departmental workload according to project assignments and needs.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.

• Follow up with POL on the seal replacement documentation.

Core Responsibilities

• The incumbent will drive continuous improvement to optimize the End-to-End Supply Chain till goods are received by our customers. The geographic scope of the role is to serve our India and Emerging Asia markets (top 4: Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines) and will be based in Singapore.
• The role of a Customer Logistics manager crafts new value by improving overall service to customers, while balancing trade-offs/efficiencies on cash and cost. Key deliverables include:

a) to identify and deliver projects/initiatives in partnership with our customers that enable sales, improve service, cost, cash, and sustainability goals.

b) to meet (or exceed) target service score versus annual Customer Pulse

c) to support new customer on-boarding including set up of logistics terms

• To build knowledge and provide transparency of the market retail landscape, customer requirements, including the critical metrics important to win our customers.
• To establish collaborative partnerships and strong collaborator management (internal and external) to drive value creation initiatives. You will be expected to work independently collaborating closely with Sales, Operations, and external customers in the market (and in the regional market group where appropriate).
• To drive regional supply chain projects/initiatives for SCO that drives scale and efficiencies in serving our customers and different channels in APAC CN.
• This role will also be assigned to lead a regional process within the APAC CN Customer Logistics team to drive governance, establish capability, and deliver value through continuous process improvement.

The role exists to ensure the operational backbone in the supply chain is connected to the true needs of our customer and with that, enable supply chain capabilities to deliver the right service.

• The toy industry and the Retail landscape in general, is fast evolving with channel and customer requirements having seismic shifts motivated by the digital economy. With that, Customer Logistics play a meaningful role in enabling supply chain solutions to support sales, improve service, cost, and cash.
• The person in the role will have the opportunity to work broadly across multi-functional teams in the value chain, travel (as required), and be exposed to our global customer logistics network to share and re-apply best-in-class processes. The role opens to opportunities for further career advancement within the SCO.

Do you have what it takes:

• Proven experience working in CPG/ FMCG/Toy/Luxury/Sports & Apparel industry.
• Demonstrates good understanding of E2E supply chain operations from factory to customer shelves.
• Validated track-record in proactively driving outcomes, team collaboration, communicating effectively with collaborators, and influencing skills.
• Demonstrated examples in leading continuous improvement projects, good knowledge on logistics cost drivers, and experienced in managing trade-offs within the value chain.
• Experienced in project management and exposed to managing a diverse set of collaborators.
• Ability to work with a remote functional team and ability to thrive in a diverse, multi-cultural organization sitting across different geographies, cultures, and time zones.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and take judgment calls.
• Previous working experience in Toy industry or functional experience working for Sales, Customer Service, and/or Customer Development work.
• Previous experience using SAP and other advanced features/tools from Microsoft like power BI
• Experience in Agile project management methodology will be valuable.
• Multi-lingual skills (English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese) will be a big plus
• Relocation support is not offered for this role
