Our client is a leading data center solutions firm headquartered in Singapore, with a strong presence across APAC. They are currently looking for a HR Assistant Manager to support their people operations in Singapore.

Reporting to the Regional Head of HR, you will play a key role in ensuring that the HR initiatives are aligned with business objectives and are implemented effectively across the organisation.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the full spectrum of HR operations, HR structures and policies
  • Provide operational HR support and guidance as required by the business, including application for work passes if necessary
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers.
  • Facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for new hires, ensuring they are integrated into the organisation effectively.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, fostering positive relationships and resolving issues promptly
  • Assist in developing and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance job satisfaction and retention, and handle employee relations issues
  • Implement performance management processes, including goal-setting, regular check-ins, and annual performance reviews.
  • Identify training needs, collaborating with managers to create and implement relevant training programs
  • Maintain employee records and ensure all HR documents are up-to-date and in compliance with regulations
  • Work with external vendor on payroll administration for all employees in Singapore

skills and experience required

  • Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in HR generalist position
  • Adaptable, self-motivated and independent
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with individuals at all organisational levels
  • Thorough knowledge of Singapore employment laws, MOM regulations and HR policies
  • IHRP-CP, or other relevant local HR certification will be preferred
