Deputy Director, Human Resources
Support the CHRO in formulating and implementing HR strategic plans aligned with institutional goals. Foster stakeholder partnerships, promote staff well-being, develop manpower planning capabilities, and enhance labour-management relations.
Job Descriptions:
1. Transformation
- Chart the strategic course for HR transformations and analytics,aligning with company vision and objectives.
- Collaborate with HR departments and Corporate Group functions to execute the transformational roadmap.
2. Manpower Planning, Analytics, and Reporting
Planning & Budgeting
- Oversee Annual Manpower Planning FTE Budgeting exercise with CFO, Finance, Divisional Directors/HODs, Corporate Planning, HRBPs, P&R, and Resourcing teams.
- Review new manpower requests with HODs, providing insights to Senior Leadership.
- Ensure financial sustainability, enhance manpower efficiencies, and support workload requirements.
Analytics
- Use HR analytics tools for dashboards and insights.
Reporting
- Track manpower productivity.
- Supervise the team for accurate and timely reporting and analysis.
3. Employee and Union Relations
Employee Relations
- Resolve disciplinary issues fairly through investigations and BOI.
- Provide advisories and guidance to Divisional Directors/HODs and HRBPs.
Union Relations
- Build harmonious Labour-Management relations with Union HQ and Branch Union to resolve staff issues.
- Foster Union-Management partnerships for staff development.
4. HR Business Partner
- Lead, supervise, and develop HR BPs to engage stakeholders as effective business partners.
- Collaborate with HODs, offering consultations and guidance.
- Drive succession planning, talent pool growth, and IDP implementation.
- Partner with Group and Institution’s CoEs for strategic initiatives.
- Align HR deliverables with organizational needs.
5. Emergency Planning
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or related field with 15+ years of senior HR experience.
- Experience in strategic workforce planning and change management.
- Knowledge of data analysis and reporting.
- Understanding of the Employment Act and related regulations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management.
