Our client is a start-up in the info-tech and education sectors. Due to their business growth, they are expanding their footprint in Singapore and are currently looking for a HR Manager to pioneer their team here.

Reporting directly to the Management, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating a positive work environment, supporting organisational expansion, and aligning HR strategies with business objectives.

Your responsibilities include:


Strategic HR Management:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of HR operations, establishing HR structure and policies to support company growth
  • Collaborate with department heads to assess staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from job posting to offer negotiation.
  • Ensure seamless onboarding for new hires, facilitating effective integration into the organisation

Employee Engagement and Development:

  • Act as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, fostering positive relationships and addressing issues promptly
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, job satisfaction, and retention.
  • Implement performance management processes, including goal-setting, regular check-ins, and annual performance reviews.

Talent Management and Administration:

  • Identify training needs and collaborate with managers to implement relevant training programs.
  • Manage talent management frameworks, identifying high-potential employees and creating succession plans.
  • Provide operational HR support, including managing work passes as required by the business.

Administrative Support

  • Coordinate employee orientation, training logistics, and record keeping to ensure smooth onboarding processes.
  • Facilitate organisation-wide committees and contribute creative ideas to foster a positive work environment.
  • Provide direct support to employees, addressing concerns and performing office support activities.

skills and experience required

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant and hands-on experience in spearheading end-to-end HR functions
  • Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or equivalent
  • Proven track record in scaling up a business within a start-up environment, including hands-on recruitment experience
  • Ability to partner effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills and resilient with a strong sense of work ethics, accountability and ownership
  • Meticulous attention to detail with strong organisational skills
  • Good understanding of local HR laws and employment regulations
