SERVICE ENGINEER

Main Duties

The ideal candidate will be involved with equipment installation, after-sales services such as calibration, certification and preventive maintenance, and service documentation and reports. Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, independent, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

· Field service support for Esco products

· Handle all breakdown calls in the earliest response time

· Ensure high level of customer satisfaction and effectively manage customer expectations

· Prepare field service reports and related documentation.

· Monitors repairs and maintenance activities to ensure operational efficiency and to target required hours for machine repair

· Responsible for decisions when to instigate the escalation process in order to resolve a customer concern/issue.

· Perform troubleshooting, commissioning, certification of units promoted

· Provides effective teamwork, building a strong relationship with customer contacts

· Carry out hands-on training for field service organizations internationally when needed

The Ideal Candidate Would Possess:

· Diploma or Degree in Engineering

· With at least one (1) year working experience in equipment repair and troubleshooting

· Good command of spoken and written English

· Good analytical and problem-solving skills

· Willing to travel locally and abroad

Job Role

• Handles day to day order takings and in-house system data entry
• Builds relationships with existing customers by understanding their needs and assisting with their queries.
• Manages customer orders and communicate requirements to internal stakeholders (Sales, Supply, Operations) to ensure smooth fulfilment of orders.
• Liaises and updates customers of the status of deliveries.
• Follow up with billing matters and generate Statements of Accounts to assist with the collection of payments.
• Processes sales order and verifies purchase orders.
• Generate delivery reports and assist on general administration matters.
• Coordinate import and export shipping activities in liaison with customer, supplier and shipping agent.
• Assist the reception to answer incoming calls.

Job Skills and Requirements

• Diploma/ “O” Level holder with 1 – 2 years of related working experience.
• Good communication, written and interpersonal skills.
• To be able to converse in English, Mandarin and/ or Dialect (to liaise with Chinese and/ or Dialect speaking customers)
• Customer service oriented.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute procurement processes in PCF’s Procurement Management System (PMS), including the creation of Small Value Purchase (SVP)/Request for Quotation (RFQ), Purchase Order (PO), Goods Received Note (GRN)
• Work closely with Information Technology Division (ITD) and Procurement Department (PRO) on technical issues encountered on PCF PMS
• Coordinate with Finance Division (FID) on payment matters
• Liaise with PRO to execute necessary follow-up actions and ensure proper closure of outstanding cases recorded such as in ageing reports
• Work closely with Senior Care Centres (SCCs) and Active Aging Centres (AACs) for procurement and payment-related matters
• Manage SCC/AAC staff’s professional development training process including registration, marking of attendance, and account activation via PCF Learning Management System (LMS) and Agency for Integrated Care (AIC) LMS platforms; while taking charge to relevant ensure course fee payments are processed
• Maintain SCC/ACC staff’s training records online
• Procure furniture and equipment for new centres alongside the Centre Manager, Senior Nurse, Therapists as well as the Admin and Finance team
• Perform grant claim submissions
• Take down minute notes for meetings
• Undertake projects and tasks that might be introduced from time to time

Job Holder Requirements and Qualifications:

• Degree in Business Administration or Economics or Management (minimum Polytechnic Diploma in Business or Management if the candidate has excellent career track in relevant experience)
• At least 2 years experience in administration, financial or procurement portfolios
• Proficient in Microsoft Office – MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Good team player with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to multi-task, well organised and meticulous
