As the Manager of Software Implementation & Vessel Performance, your pivotal role within the technical department revolves around ensuring the successful implementation of new Ship Management Software across all ships and shore offices. Your primary responsibility lies in providing comprehensive training to all company employees, including both shore and ship staff, enabling them to proficiently utilize the various modules and functions of the Ship Management Software.

Furthermore, you will actively work to decrease overall energy consumption on board vessels through a range of measures. This is a joint position between the School of Art, Design and Media (ADM) and the School of Electronic Electrical Engineering (EEE). ADM is part of the College of Humanities, Arts And Social Sciences (COHASS) and EEE is part of the College of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. This position is housed at ADM, and the faculty member will be expected to deliver courses at ADM as well as ADM supported courses in the IEM program. The B.Eng in Information Engineering and Media (IEM) is a successful interdisciplinary program hosted by EEE and jointly offered with ADM and WKW School of Communication and Information.

The candidate serves interdisciplinary education in the field of visual art practice and concepts, covering courses in drawing, design concept, color theory and applications. The faculty member will be expected to deliver foundation and visual culture courses in ADM, as well as ADM supported core IEM courses in EEE. This is an educator-track position, with service and research components.
