The department’s current data science efforts focus on building consciousness inspired machine learning to improve generalization and robustness of AI in medicine. Purpose of the post

The research fellow will be responsible to, and work closely with, the Principal Investigator and study team members to ensure the successful completion of the machine learning projects on time. The RA’s principal role will be to work in computational project such as modeling building and algorithm development.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The research fellow will liaise with the relevant personnel in department to smooth the process of research and will be accountable to the Principle Investigator (PI). The RA will be able to:

1. Independently conduct machine learning in medicine or fundamental machine learning projects under instruction by the PI
2. Oversee the general management of the projects.

Metta Preschool Punggol (慈光幼儿园) has been in operation since its official opening on 31 July 2010. The Centre receives cases from SG Enable through referrals from hospitals. Enrolment will take place after the initial screening process is completed. Our Centre specializes in early intervention programmes for children under two to six years old from various races and religions who are diagnosed or suspected with mild to moderate autism spectrum disorders (ASD), global developmental delay and/or intellectual disabilities. Early intervention seeks to maximize the potential development of these infants and children.

The children attend a 3-hour session programmes twice a week. The multi-disciplinary team consists of teachers, occupational therapists and speech and language therapists. They come together to discuss and set specific and measurable 1-year goals for the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) of each child. The IEP focuses on 6 domains: fine motor, gross motor, adaptive, cognitive, social communication and social skills.

Who are we looking for?

The Chief of Staff works as part of the CARES leadership team (with the CARES Director) to ensure the smooth running of the University of Cambridge's research centre in Singapore. The post holder has operational responsibility for all day-to- day non-academic activities of the centre, including research grant pre- and post award activities, people management, financial management, and establishing and maintaining partnerships with funders and collaborating institutions. The Department of Diagnostic Imaging (DDI) is the clinical service department in the National University Hospital (NUH). With the formation of the National University Health System (NUHS), both clinical and academic departments come under a common governing structure. NUHS was incorporated on 23 January 2008 to integrate education, research and clinical care.

Purpose of the post

The PI lab aims to develop in vitro diagnostics, in vivo imaging and nanobiotechnology with emphasis on molecular imaging tools and drug and gene delivery techniques. The Visiting Fellows will be responsible to, and work closely with, the Principal Investigator and the team members to undertake independent and/or collaborative research and to lead on aspects of research strategy within the lab.

Main duties and responsibilities

The Visiting Fellow will be able to:

1. Independently undertake advanced research in the relevant discipline area using, or developing, the appropriate methods and/or techniques;

Qualifications
