Responsibilities:

Accounting, General Admin Functions

• Responsible for the full set accounts and day-to-day accounting
• Perform bookkeeping general ledger, AP, cash management, and bank reconciliation
• Ensure all accounting records are kept up-to-date and maintained promptly and accurately
• Handle all regulatory submissions including GST returns
• Process payments to suppliers
• Liaise with the external auditor and tax agents
• Report to the Directors and handle ad-hoc assignments

HR Functions

• Responsible for full spectrum of HR function
• Responsible in payroll process, claims expenses, and other related matters
• Manage recruitment cycle including sourcing, arrange for interview, and salary proposal
• Process Work pass application, renewable and cancellation
• Coordinate with insurance agents with regards to cancellation, renewal, new coverage of insurances

Requirements:

• ACCA/Diploma in Accounting or equivalent with 2 years of relevant work experience
• Possess knowledge in GST, Local Tax Regulations, and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS)
• Self -motivated. well organized, meticulous, and able to multi-task

• Responsible for the financial accounting of the Singapore company, preparing monthly financial statements, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Responsible for local banking tasks in Singapore, including opening bank accounts, cooperating with bank due diligence, maintaining and managing bank accounts to ensure their normal operation, and handling bank receipts and payments
• Responsible for basic tax work for the Singapore company, including the accrual and payment of Goods and Services Tax (GST), corporate income tax filing, and other related tasks
• Review business contracts, payment orders, and other documents related to the Singapore company
• Liaise with intermediaries responsible for preparing company registration and other documents, including annual inspection materials and other government documents

Requirements:

1. 3-5 years of financial work experience
2. Possess basic knowledge of Singapore tax, including Goods and Services Tax (GST) and corporate income tax
3. proactive, clear logical thinking, and a strong sense of teamwork

Responsibilities:

• Oversee accident reporting and clarify the claims process to customers, such as bus captains, taxi/private hire vehicle hirers, and relief drivers.
• Implement effective claims management to meet KPI targets for claims outcomes.
• Collaborate as part of the team to ensure the company recovers losses from third parties or defends against claims from individuals involved in road accidents.
• Coordinate with workshops and relevant parties to communicate with third-party insurers, legal representatives, and passengers on behalf of SMRT Buses and Strides Premier Fleet.
• Work with various departments within SMRT Buses, Strides Premier Fleet, and associated agents to pursue any claims effectively.

Requirements:

• Diploma in General Insurance or related field.
• At least 2 years of working experience in Motor insurance claims.
• Proficient in using MS Office Applications.
• Good negotiation, problem solving, and analytical skills
• Possess excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Outlook and Excel.

Job Responsibilites:

• Review reconciliations of all supplier, staff, bank and ledger accounts to ensure that

they are up-to-date and accurate. This would involve follow-up within or outside the

section to resolve pending items to ensure that year-end adjustments are kept to

the minimum.

• Check the integrity of interfaces, completeness of data and review of

accrual/prepayment journals generated by the system referring any

discrepancies/anomalies to immediate supervisor with recommendations for

corrective action to ensure monthly closing and quarterly hard closing deadlines are

met and accounts display the correct balances.

• Maintain accurate, up to date documentation on manual and system process

followed in the section as a part of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and user

guides. Ensure that changes in procedures are promptly updated and

communicated to the team. Identify enhancements and modifications required to

improve the processes, present potential enhancements/ modification to team

leader for consideration.

• Assist auditors through investigation of queries raised from financial systems to

enable a thorough response to be provided.

• Check supporting documentation used for updating masters in the financial systems

and approve the same to facilitate auto accounting and staff recoveries.

• Specific to Payables:

Timely Entry requires the accounts payable person who opens the mail to enter a

date received on the invoice, and update the invoices details.

• Review supplier invoices which are pending due to non-availability of supporting

documents (manual or system based) and/or unauthorised to ensure

acceptance/rejection of the invoices.

• Approve payments to suppliers and service providers by referring to supporting

documents and authorisation manual to ensure correct payments and optimum

utilisation of agreed credit period.

• Advise the daily/weekly funds requirements based on due payments to ensure

timely payment to suppliers.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Accountancy or any professional qualifications

• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field

• Experience in handling high volume of transactions with reconciliation work

• Able to start work immediately will be an added advantage

Responsibilities:

• Prepare budgets and forecasts for the APAC business and to submit monthly performance results.
• Analyzing of sales & costs, capital efficiency (Return on Invested Capital) including inventory & fixed asset.
• Identify causes of variances and report the results to the supervisor and management.
• Periodic reporting to HQ for the performance of subsidiaries in ASEAN
• Compute and derive the value of investment using Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) method.
• Perform cash flow planning, and train the subordinates.
• Respond to external auditors, banks, tax agent.
• Knowledge of SOX will be an added value.
• Manage transfer pricing arrangements.
• Work with cross functional operations to champion process improvement initiatives.
• Lead, motivate and develop the finance team.

About the Role:

This position is an integral part of the team and is mainly responsible for Financial Reporting, Planning & Analysis and Treasury functions. He/she need to also perform other duties, ad hoc assignments and projects as assigned.

Roles and responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Prepare actual and budget/forecast financial reporting and presentation, including improve the template when needed.
• Perform variance analysis and document commentaries on financial results for the respective business and operation units.
• Partner with business teams to support business decisions & strategy.
• Ensure each business and operation units costs are being forecasted and accounted properly for before month end close.
• Assist to manage outsource service provider related to month end reporting package.

Intercompany transactions Management

• Ensure agreements are in place and maintain inter-co agreement listings up to-date.
• Update intercompany recharges template for corporate function.

Treasury Matters

• Support in preparing daily cash flow report.
• Manage hedging operations, evaluation, and monitoring of daily rates.
• Support in other Treasury matters.

Others

• Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures, Policies, internal control procedures and accounting policies.
• Review existing processes and drive for continuous improvements.
