The Assistant Finance Manager is responsible for supporting the Finance Manager in overseeing financial operations within the hospitality establishment. They will assist in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis, as well as ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.

Job Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets in accordance with company policies and accounting standards

- Support the Finance Manager in monitoring and analyzing financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability

- Conduct financial forecasting and variance analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement

- Assist in managing cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes

- Coordinate with other departments to gather financial data and provide financial insights for decision-making

- Assist in ensuring compliance with taxation, regulatory, and audit requirements

- Participate in financial audits and provide necessary documentation and support

- Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and internal controls

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred

- 3 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in the hospitality industry

- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and taxation

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Occasional travel may be required

Your key responsibilities

• This role is deputy to senior Business COO and responsible for providing support to all front office teams in APAC which aide in serving the end Wealth clients
• Review and approve exceptions for BAU by evaluating the risks in the GAPS against KOP’s. Approximately 7500 exceptions per annum.

Your skills and experience

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in a Private Banking / Wealth Management support function required.

• A Post-graduate/Graduate degree in Finance, Business
• Proven ability to handle unstructured work, and support international senior stakeholders with tight deadlines.

About the team

The Incident Management team aims to ensure the safety of our users on the platform by responding to varying levels of escalations. As an Incident Manager based in Singapore, you will be on the front line reviewing and managing our response to high priority global content safety related escalations ranging from natural disasters to regulatory events.

Responsibilities

- Investigate, manage, and resolve reported incidents across multiple channels for TikTok, including review of graphic, controversial, and sometimes offensive content

- Coordinate across various global cross-functional teams including Public Policy, Legal, Product and Engineering, among others to handle and respond to crisis;

- Analyse incident trends, systems and data to develop improvements to the overall incident processes and drive improvements across process, policy and product;

- You will be expected to lead cross-functional post-mortems for major incidents and produce actionable insights;

- Be comfortable, methodical and calm during high-pressure situations;

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or above;
