Job Summary
This role is responsible for working within the Global Affluent Segments and partnering with the in-market WRB Affluent Segments, Product Management, Marketing and Frontline Affluent distribution teams, besides respective Group stakeholders to drive the affluent segments and business growth strategy. The role will cover the below tasks & functions across 2 key areas – HNW Value Prop and Wealth Academy, across multiple markets, as relevant to the initiative.
Priority Private (PP) Value Proposition and Initiatives
Driving high quality execution of the Bank’s PP Value Proposition Strategy, via effective collaboration with Group and In-Market stakeholders, and external vendors / organisations.
Key outcomes driven by this individual would be
· Implementation of strategic CVP initiatives such as Experiences programmes - Next Gen Programme, Global Lifestyle concierge services, Sports (Golf), etc.
· Usage of insights from and refinements made to PP NPS and leveraging on HNW Wealth Insights
· Benchmarking CVPs vs Markets to identify areas of improvements
· Developing and driving marketing strategies to raise segment awareness and consideration – externally & internally
· Build & establish a structured management information pack for the segment, and work closely with Data & Analytics teams to mine sharp insights that can drive better segment performance
· Support new markets in the PP CVP introduction, and ensure strong differentiators are in place
Standard Chartered-INSEAD Wealth Academy – Key responsibilities
· Lead the execution for the Academy programs, in collaboration with People Capabilities (and HR) – Diamond and Platinum
· Play a lead role in the Gold Program design with a digital-led / digital first approach
· Lead the execution of the Platinum and Gold Program in collaboration with market stakeholders and external partners
· Co-manage the tracking and measurement dashboards, alongwith the PC team
· Work closely with the Academy product owner / Lead to develop the design for practical on-ground Learning extension & embedding programs, including introducing digital tools & interventions
· Manage and coordinate the external vendor relationships such as INSEAD, Fitch Learning, Intuition, and others to ensure alignment on objectives, costs and outcomes
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
· Understand the Affluent segments WRB business strategy and leadership’s expectations and ensure the Priority Private Segment CVP management agendas are effectively supported and delivered, including the outlined frontline advisory training objectives via the SC-INSEAD Academy
· In partnership with the frontline / distribution teams (in-market and Global Affluent),support development of capabilities that differentiate Priority Private value proposition and drive quality client engagements
· As a member of the Global Affluent segments CVP team, provide analytics and insights to strategic discussions and ensure key business initiatives are effectively implemented
· Benchmark Priority Private CVP proposition and Academy programs to competition and market requirements, and develop analyses to demonstrate positive impacts to business
Business
· Support enablers that drive quality Priority Private client base growth across markets
· Assist in expanding the Priority Private offerings in new markets, as per the MT aligned strategic plans & market requirements
· Work with the Group and markets’ Affluent and Wealth teams, to enable a strong range of compelling (must-haves and differentiating) wealth solutions relevant to the HNW clients
· Champion a positive customer experience through enhanced CVP capabilities and embedding of the advisory-led learning via the SC-INSEAD Wealth Academy
· Lead the collaborative effort to build an End-2-End HNW/Priority Private brand experience for PP clients
· Help in execution of initiatives that elevate the role of Academy (and INSEAD brand partnership) in going beyond the learning objectives (e.g. research, client programs, etc.)
Processes
· Priority Private Segment Proposition documentation – segment must-haves, definitions for segment optimisation, and policies / procedures applicable to the RM / specialist functions, external titles and roles
· Monitor and drive implementation of segment optimisation norms and metrics
· Collaborate with the Group FLIP (Frontline Incentive Plan) team and markets to drive the adoption of Priority Private specific model scorecards and incentive mechanism
· Ensuring the requirements of policies and procedures are appropriately communicated to and followed by the team and frontline
· Ongoing control monitoring of the minimum control requirements set out in the policy and procedures to ensure that if a key-control activity stops working, or operates outside its normal operating conditions, it will be quickly detected in the ordinary course of line management
· Actively help in management of Priority Private and Wealth Academy budgets and initiatives tracking
People & Talent
· Provide leadership input as part a member of the Global Affluent Segments team
· Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values, embedding a high level of team engagement
· Strike effective partnership with market stakeholders (such as segment, distribution, wealth and marketing teams) and collaboratively build Priority Private solutions, as well as devise an effective way to manage Academy participation and improvements in content via regular feedback
Risk Management
· Manage changes and reporting of the Operational Risk Framework (ORF), where applicable
· Ensure consistent implementation of agreed risk and control monitors across markets
Governance
· Ensure awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group operates and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role
· Deliver effective governance in compliance with applicable internal policies esp. with regards to contracts, vendor and partner management etc.
· Develop a strong conduct, risk and control environment to minimise operational loss and audit failures

Other Responsibilities
· Embed Here for good and Group’s brand and values in Affluent Segment Teams Group and Markets; Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures; Multiple functions (double hats)
· Help in embedding Business Change Management
· Set-up a full-scale accurate and timely financial dashboard for HNW/PP, and embed into MIS platform
· Development of analytics framework, in partnership with SCMAC
· Manage stakeholder engagement (global and local) at all seniority levels to enhance the client experience and quality of engagement
Our Ideal Candidate
· Bachelor's or Master’s degree, preferably in management. Professional qualification in data / wealth management areas such as investments, insurance, etc. will be an added advantage
· 6+ years experience in banking / financial services. Including products, segments, data analytics fields
· 3+ years of experience in Segment Management
· Experience in working with multiple markets and multi-market projects
· Strong experience in segment & business analytics and wealth insights
· Experience in Retail Banking and Wealth Management products and sales
· Proven ability to work with diverse teams globally and effectively collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders
· Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, while proficiency in data scripts & programming will be an added asset
· Project and Programme Management skills to monitor specific projects and take ownership of issues and tasks
· Ability to work independently to strict timeframes, focused, organised and results-oriented
· Good presentation, time management, negotiation and influencing skills
· No specific certifications / licenses required, but understanding or any licenses / certifications in Wealth Management / Solutions will be an added advantage
· Understanding of Mandarin or Cantonese languages as the incumbent will be supporting the South East Asian Markets
