We are looking for a Senior Nurse Educator to join our team and lead the educational activities for our current nurses and academic nursing program for our current and future nursing students. Responsibilities include teaching nursing students/ nurses, reviewing educational material, and documenting the progress of students/ nurses throughout the year.

Responsibilities

• Provide educational leadership to patients and care providers to enhance specialized patient care within established healthcare settings
• Conducts nursing staff orientation, training and continuing education programmes to maintain level of competency
• Develop patient care plans
• Educate technical and patient care staff in the use of equipment, supplies, and instruments
• Initiate skill development programs
• Provide direct and specialized nursing services

Requirements

• Registered with Singapore Nursing Board
• Diploma/ Degree in Nursing
• Advanced Diploma/ Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Instructor, Nurse Education or relevant field
• Minimum 10 years of post-registration clinical experience, of which a minimum of five (5) years experience in clinical teaching/professional development and continuing education at an acute hospital setting

About the Role

• Oversee the day-to-day operations in a nursing home.
• Lead and manage clinical staff to deliver quality patient care.
• Ensure compliance and improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Lead and participate in quality improvement projects to improve care standards.
• Plan and be responsible to manpower budget.
• Conduct research and propose improvement ideas, project proposals for management review.

What We Are Looking For

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Nursing with valid AED/BCLS
• Registered nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board, with a valid Practising Certificate
• At least 5 years of clinical management experience.
• Able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
• Strong project management skills, budget experience, and ability to work independently and in team-based environment.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.

• Professional Certificate in hairdressing or relevant qualifications/experience is preferred
• Able to work on both Asian and Western hair types
