Job Duties:

• An integral role as a recruiter in fulfilling clients' staffing needs

• Handle full spectrum of recruitment and talent acquisition matters

• Conduct Interviews/phone screening and select potential candidates to meet clients' requirements

• Coordinate interviews between candidates and clients

• Develop connections and new business and relationship management sources with existing accounts

• Engage in networking and building relationships with business partners and jobseekers

• Ensure that the company's objectives and sales targets are met

• Other ad-hoc duties apply

Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment and Staffing:

· Lead the recruitment process for various positions within the F&B establishment.

· Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract top talent.

· Conduct interviews, coordinate selection processes, and make hiring recommendations.

· Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.

2. Employee Relations:

· Handle employee relations matters, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts.

· Foster a positive work environment and promote a culture of open communication.

· Implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and productivity.

3. Training and Development:

· Identify training needs and coordinate training programs for employees.

· Facilitate continuous learning and development opportunities.

· Work with department heads to ensure employees receive necessary job-specific training.

4. Policy and Compliance:

· Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.

· Ensure compliance with local labor laws and industry regulations.

· Stay informed about changes in employment legislation and update policies accordingly.

5. HR Administration:

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.

· Handle payroll processes and collaborate with finance for timely payroll disbursement.

6. Health and Safety:

· Ensure a safe and healthy working environment by implementing safety protocols.

· Coordinate with relevant departments to address health and safety concerns.

7. Strategic HR Planning:

· Collaborate with senior management to align HR strategies with business goals.

· Provide input on organizational planning and development.

Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition

Reporting to the Vice President, HRBP, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to meet the talent needs of Ascott. This includes identifying, engaging, and hiring high-performing candidates who align with Ascott's culture and business objectives.

You will:

• Partner with the leadership team to align HR strategy to business objectives.
• Work closely and independently with Heads of Department in the resource planning and talent acquisition for the departments in the Unit.
• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and source qualified candidates in line with business needs.
• Drive the organization's employer brand by promoting the company as an employer of choice and effectively communicating our culture, values, and opportunities
• Partner with Group Talent Management team and the leadership team in developing and building a talent pipeline for the departments.
• Partner with Group Rewards team and the leadership team in driving the annual performance review
• Work closely with HR Shared Services on the on-boarding, off-boarding and internal mobility of employees
• Deliver HR services in an effective and efficient manner; identify and resolve HR issues within the Unit if required
• Be part of HR-related projects, when required, including those related to the development and implementation of HR Systems and other ad hoc projects that may arise

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resource or equivalent
• Minimum 8 - 10 years of relevant experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably in the Hospitality industry
• Good exposure to the complete recruitment lifecycle from Sourcing to Onboarding
• Experience working in an external recruitment agency will be an advantage
• Resourceful, independent and possesses strong initiative and drive.
• Meticulous and exercises high level of discretion when dealing with confidential information
• Team player, who is mature with good hands-on multi-tasking abilities
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills

• Manage day-to-day general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data by performing regular audits and reconciliations

Job Descriptions:

1) E-commerce Key Account Management

• Drive and implement commercial plans across owned and top-tier online marketplace accounts (e.g., RedMart and Amazon).
• Achieve sales targets and stimulate growth within key eCommerce accounts, including negotiations on terms of sale, pricing, and online promotions.

2) Online Operations:

• Select the right mix of products for online sales based on market demand, target audience preferences, and competitive analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and timely delivery.
• Conduct accurate forecasting, monitor inventory levels, and optimize inventory turnover.
• Ensure eCommerce site optimization for navigation, secure payments, and mobile responsiveness.
• Manage compliance with contractual agreements and legal requirements, including contract renewals and negotiations as needed.

3) Digital Marketing and Social Media

• Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns on various marketplace accounts and manage corporate website, QB E-commerce site, and LinkedIn account.
• Enhance product visibility and sales through optimized product listings, manage on-site content, and develop engaging marketing content to drive customer engagement.
• Utilize UX/UI design and checkout process optimization to enhance customer experience and reduce cart abandonment.
• Employ various online marketing channels such as SEM, SEO, social media, email marketing, and content marketing to effectively reach target consumers.
• Generate reports on key eCommerce and marketing metrics, present findings to management, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Coordinate with external vendors, agencies, and partners to execute eCommerce initiatives and marketing campaigns effectively.

4) Brand Management:

• Ensure visually appealing digital assets and brand consistency across all digital touchpoints, including the website, social media platforms, and online advertisements.
• Support the team in providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and managing loyalty programs for owned Ecommerce platforms.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma holder in Sales & Marketing / Business Development or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in an e-commerce/retail background.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, eCommerce platforms, order management systems, and fulfillment processes.
• Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, UX/UI design principles.
• Proficient in search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), social media marketing, email marketing, and marketing automation.
