RESPONSIBILITIES

The Programme Executive primarily implements initiatives and development plans that are congruent with the organisation's goals and the needs of the community.

Programme Implementation

Summary

The Regional Director Security Operations (RDSO) is responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team that executes a global security operations program for a multi-national IT organization. Services provided include security operations, safety, budget and financial execution, logistics, and employee recruitment, onboarding and training. The security operations program is comprised of regional security man-guarding functions, a security operations center, development and management of security operations metrics, branch liaison, personnel management and driving key security operations projects and initiatives for datacenters on a multi $100M global Client account. Direct reports may include field based Regional Security Managers, as well as shared services/program management resources to include Regional Operations Coordinator, Security Design PMOs and other Security Operations personnel. The RDSO is accountable for datacenter security operations service delivery, enhancing safety culture, driving innovation and process change across the program and staff engagement and development. The RDSO is expected to advance operational security and business relevancy while collaborating with the client, fellow RDSOs, Securitas business divisions, associate contractors, global business partners, and other supporting teams. This position reports directly to the Global Director of Operations.

Essential Functions

1. Strategically aligns a multi-disciplinary team into a singular, cohesive group; prioritized to meet the client’s data center security operations requirements.

This critical program requires strong leadership to oversee the execution of our Edge technology roll out.

The Director of Edge Solution Deployment APAC is accountable for driving a global technology roll-out in all our restaurants that will enable new cloud-based software applications as well as on-site local software and AI solutions within the region.  This leader must be able to foster a collaborative working relationship with cross-functional and business stakeholders across the globe. Demonstrated success in deploying a workstream as part of a complex, global program, with intimate knowledge of global deployment fundamentals and the impact technology has on our employees, and our customers.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and execution of our comprehensive global cloud Edge technology deployment plans outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements ensuring dependencies and sequencing is considered and planned.
• Execution of global cloud Edge deployment plans to successfully drive technology deployment and market activation of new cloud computing capabilities in our restaurants.
• Accountable for the successful implementation of Edge technology in all restaurant locations across the globe including a comprehensive global roll-out plan while coordinating market participation and roll-out.
• Coordinate and communicate with McDonald’s cross-functional teams including segments, markets, restaurant operations, and vendors to ensure alignment on deployment objectives and milestones.
• Collaborate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to uphold deployment schedules and ensure stability and quality of deployments within the region.
• Provide expertise across deployment wave planning and coordination, technical expertise, risk management, quality assurance, and stakeholder communication.
• Partner with our third parties and our PMO in ensuring best practices are leveraged.
• Attract, develop, and retain a high-performing team capable of executing the transformational changes required. Manage work allocation and resource planning, setting clear priorities to achieve goals, to drive technology transformation success.
• History of leading workstreams of large-scale projects and cross-functional initiatives to success, on time, and within budget.

Desired Skills

• Experience with the McDonald’s business model, including intimate knowledge of our markets, market priorities, and key leaders.
• Capability to identify gaps in technological capabilities and submit requirements to meet identified gaps.
• Able to prepare and present accurate and timely information to senior leadership regarding program progress and maturity, up to and including the McDonald’s Global Technology Leadership Team.
• Proven communication skills, including written deliverables, oral presentations, and the ability to facilitate crucial conversations at Sr. Director and VP levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage and mitigate risks, with a focus on security and compliance.

REVENUE MANAGEMENT STRAGEGY SUPPORT 

• Support the Hotel Management and Executive Director of Revenue Management to develop and maintain the hotel strategy (in terms of business mix and pricing by season and type of day) for the future periods through cooperation with sales & marketing team and optimal use of revenue management systems and channels. 

REVENUE MANAGEMENT PERFORMANCE 

• Analyze in detail the hotels results and performance (average rates, occupancy rates, RevPAR..). Survey the market and competitors in terms of performance (RevPAR Index, market penetration…), pricing and availability as a basis for future tactical decisions with the Hotel GM.  Run scenarios to determine optimized actions for contracts and business mix changes 

• Perform both high level and by day forecast for both hotels and manage the forecast adjustments, uploading and reporting through Accor systems.  

PRICING, PLANNING & DISTRIBUTION OPTIMISATION 

• Take daily decisions to optimize the hotel turnover. Decisions in terms of pricing, inventory management (RMLs open/close), group quotation, distribution channels... Ensure that these recommendations are implemented in reservation and reception, and that systems (PMS, CRS/TARS, RMS) are updated accordingly.  

PMS/CRS MANAGEMENT & OPIMISATION 

• Maintain and optimize reservation systems including Opera Cloud and TARS with accurate tracking and delivery of rates to all distribution channels. 

REVPRO CULTURE 

• Ensure that a “RevPRO culture” is spreaded in the hotel, through the animation of weekly Revpro meetings and regular coaching and training sessions for the hotel teams  

TEAM DEVELOPMENT & GROWTH 

• Provide coaching and development for the Revenue Management team to support career progression and growth. 

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Pricing and distribution loading across all systems and tools 

• Cover responsibilities for the Executive Director of Revenue Management when out of the office 

• All other duties as required 

Summary

Support the Director of Sales & Marketing (DOSM) with leading, directing and motivating the Sales Team. Ensure annual sales budget is achieved and surpassed. Responsible for extending the management standards and quality guidelines in the department set by the DOSM and to assume complete management responsibility for all activites of the department in the absence of the DOSM, in line with the hotels mission, vision and objectives.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the DOSM in the management of the Sales Team especially in the absence of the DOSM.
• Attend internal meetings and conference calls, client appointments and client events in the absence primarily of the DOSM.
• Responsible for key account management based on assigned portfolio, ensuring revenue maximization, achievement of personal targets and increasing fair market share versus competitor set
• Responsible for prospecting new accounts.
• Responsible for all segments of assigned geographical markets.
• Provide supervision, leadership and direction to ensure efficient and effective operation of sales department.
• Ensure hotel achieves maximum potential in yield management & sales revenue, profits and market share in the target markets.
• Detailed knowledge of all services provided by the Hotel and all relevant facts and figures of the hotel.
• Responsible for SMART contracting of all RFP accounts to ensure optimum yielding during annual rate negotiations.
• Constantly seek to improve and develop any new business opportunities communicating and implementing such plans and objectives.
• Attend trade shows, exhibitions, conferences and updates on the marketing trends and promote the Hotel internationally.
• Participate in strategic planning and execution of sales activities according to hotel’s objectives and directives.
• Monitor sales production and adjust sales activities, account coverage and sales priorities as necessary to achieve plan goals.
• Identify sources of group business to the hotel and establish solicitation programs to maximize sales.
• Establish account qualification criteria and use market research to identify priority markets and accounts, assign sales to ensure coverage of all major accounts.
• Conduct periodic reviews, i.e. quarterly and half-yearly to review sales/product mix, expenditure & profit performances and recommend to management for implementation of corrective actions and revenue enhancements.
• Conduct site inspection for hotel.
• Entertainment of clients in our F&B outlets when and where possible.
• Increase in overall hotel business conversion percentage.
• Establish strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
• Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process.
• Create and manage company profiles in the PMS Opera System, ANAIS System.
• Daily update of sales report in ANAIS System, DSR and show around report.
• File and retrieve documents and reference materials in the shared drive.
• Conduct research and collect data to prepare reports and documents.
• Utilise efficient sales strategy for the maximization of hotel revenue.
• Respond to feedback from clients and provide after-sales support when required.
• Maintain adequate communication with other departments in the hotel so that the needs of clients can be anticipated and met in an organised manner.
• Manage customer budgets to maximize revenue and meeting customer needs.
• Make best efforts to upsell, drive additional revenue and incremental business for each event.
• Attend all briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned by management.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
• Require working beyond office hours, weekends/public holidays as and when is required by the Management.
• Be aware of the hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures.
