About you

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:

• A bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, IT, Computer Science or equivalent
• At least 2 years of commercial, finance, and/or treasury experience in a large multinational with previous experience working with or on commercial, finance, and/or treasury-related issues.
• Willingness to self-learn & pick up programming skills (Python).
• Strong digital and/or data analytics skills, ability to distill large information sources into actionable and meaningful reports for senior management.
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently in a fluid and sometimes ambiguous environment; capable of adjusting to both day-to-day and large-scale activities based on new information and developments.
• Effective team player with the ability to meet or self-manage deadlines while working on multiple projects.

It will also be beneficial if you have:

• Direct relevant experience in corporate treasury and or internal Rio Tinto commercial, treasury, or finance experience
• Python programming skills to make changes to current treasury reports.
• Ability to understand business requirements from a commercial perspective, get into the details of data provided and translate to solutions, displays analytical rigor and structured thought process that can be articulated to both internal and external audiences.
