• Reports to the Authority and ensure proper maintenance of event site.
• Involve in the pre-condition and post-condition checks of the event site and support in the documentation of any defect spotted throughout the duration of the site usage.
• Work and liaise closely with Managing Agent (MA) of the Venue and promptly rectify any issues feedback by the MA.
• Conduct up to 10 sessions of inspection during pre and post-con and provide timely update to the Authority. To also document the reinstatement required.
• A good team player who can multi-task, work with all levels of people and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Independent, observant, responsible and able to perform operational tasks assigned.
• The Contractor shall do and perform all scopes, which are done and performed according to the practice of their profession in relation to the services and matters provided in this Contract including giving of advice at any instances which the Authority may require from time to time.
• Attend to any other duties not listed above but is in connection to the fulfilment of the Contractor’s responsibilities and obligations of the Contract shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. All expenses related thereof shall be borne by the Contractor.
• Ensure that the Services are carried out in a proper and professional manner using the degree of skill ordinarily exercised by and consistent with the standards expected of a Facilities Manager’s experience and standing.
• The Authority shall have the final say in all decisions pertaining to the project.

Requirement:

• Preferably at least 3 years of experience in facilities management.
• Work experience should include relevant responsibilities such as building maintenance and inspection.
• Preferably attained relevant certification (e.g. Certified Facilities Manager or Certified Facilities Management Expert).
• Tentative engagement period: 13 November 2024 to 28 February 2025.
• Typical work hours before rehearsals commence and during tear down:
• 9 hours shift daily (inclusive of 1-hour break for meals), 5-day work week depending on site activity needs.
• Sunday off and 1 weekday off 4) Typical work hours after rehearsals commence:
• 5-day work week, 9 hours shift (inclusive of 1-hour break for meal) daily a off day on weekdays

· Repair and maintain all aircon system, refrigeration, mechanical ventilation, boiler, plumbing and all other equipment and system.

· Attend to guest room maintenance as reported by the Housekeeping department or Front Office.

· Check equipment and system for faults and carry out the necessary repair works.

· Participate in all preventive maintenance and energy conservation programme.

· Upkeep the interior furnishing of the hotel including all repair works and repainting as required.

· Any other ad hoc maintenance or repair work

Job Description:

• Assist the Assistant Chief Engineer/ Senior Duty Engineer in the operation of the department
• Ensures the standard maintenance for the hotel’s different equipment is attended to plumbing, electrical appliances, locks, heating, air conditioning, and bathroom fixtures and that all other related equipment is in good working condition.
• Take on small renovation jobs such as painting, carpeting, furnishings, etc.
• Be familiar with the operational duties and the services.
• Check system or equipment for faults and follow up on the repair works if required.
• Ensure that all firefighting facilities and equipment are ready to use at all times
• Keep a daily log that inventories the work done in the hotels.
• Keep up to date on safety-related administrative documents
• Gives colleagues any help they require in terms of hotel maintenance.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role. Preferably with experience in hotel, facilities, or construction maintenance
• ITE/Nitec Certificate in Building Facilities Maintenance, Electrical / Electronics, and Air Conditioning servicing
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Good communication skills
• The ability to deal effectively with mechanics

Job Responsibilities include, but not limited to

• Installing and fixing cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, drywall and insulation
• Adding fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges and closures
• Reading blueprints and designs to work to specifications prepared by other construction professionals, architects and building code recommendations
• Carry out daily painting work according to procedures and specifications
• Plastering work
• Replacement of fused bulbs, lighting, fluorescent tubes in the club
• Ensuring all air-con chillers are functioning
• Check that the hot water system to the guestrooms is operating normally
• Attend to request from departments for repair, servicing, fixture works, faulty equipment, etc
• Implements preventive maintenance and repair schedule for all machinery, equipment and other facilities
• Carry out in-house maintenance or improvement works as instructed
• Maintain daily housekeeping at workplace
• Maintain working tools and equipment in good condition
• Follow safe work practices in all aspect of work
• Any other duties assigned by the Facilities & Project Manager

Responsibilities

Involve in one or more teams in supporting and upkeeping our Satellite Communication systems running smoothly through

· Troubleshooting works, of integrated systems consisting of electrical, mechanical and electronic subsystems in both indoor and outdoor environment

· Workshop bench test to troubleshoot faulty Radio Frequency and baseband equipment using common engineering tools and support test equipment

· Technical writing of Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) of Radio Frequency and baseband equipment

· Technical writing of documents like work instructions and manuals

· Proficient in the use of support test equipment like multimeter, spectrum analyzer and power meter

· Proficient in operating simple tools

· Able to understand Radio Frequency Engineering drawings or Electrical circuits

· Supporting of overseas exercises when called for

Requirements

· Diploma in Engineering in Electrical/Electronics and Communication / Information Technology or equivalent

· Possess at least 5 years of maintenance/operating experience on the Satellite Communication system or with Alcatel/Cisco switch and router networking and Information Technology administration experience

· Ability to learn and pick up skills quickly

· Good leadership

· Self-motivated

· Possess Class 3 driving license is an added advantage

· Standby/recall duties are required on the rotational basis

· Must be willing to travel at short notice

· Working location is in Ang Mo Kio
