Job Description

1. Support the Relationship Managers in operational duties related to clients' account servicing and transactional services including account opening and maintenance, credit application, investment transaction and banking instruction.

The A*STAR Biosafety Level 3 (BSL-3) Facility supports research and diagnostic work involving a range of risk group 3 pathogens, such as mpox virus, avian influenza, and Mtb. We are seeking motivated candidates to contribute to our efforts in pandemic preparedness.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with relevant stakeholders to develop comprehensive policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and guidelines for biosafety within the BSL-3 Facility.
• Ensure that all approved biosafety measures are effectively implemented and adhered to within the facility to mitigate risks associated with handling hazardous materials.
• Design and deliver training programs on biorisk management to staff members, ensuring they are well-versed in safety protocols and procedures.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for communication between the BSL-3 Facility and stakeholders, as well as regulatory authorities, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
• Facilitate meetings related to BSL3 safety and serve as a liaison for addressing any safety concerns or issues raised by facility users.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Medical/Clinical Laboratory Science, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Virology, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years experience working in a BSL-2 laboratory.
• Qualified Biosafety Coordinator/Officer is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with ISO35001/ISO17025/ISO9001 is advantageous.
• Experience in preparing SOPs is beneficial.
• Experience in pathogens related lab work, basic molecular biology, and cellular biology techniques is advantageous.
• Experience in animal handling is a plus.
