• Manage order hotlines by ensuring calls are answered promptly and minimize abandon calls especially during peak hours. Ensure achievement of departmental service level at all times.

Responsibilities

- Embrace safety and environmental preservation as fundamental principles.

- Resolve issues, implement corrective and preventive measures, and educate the IT support team on multi-tiered application architectures employing various technologies aboard the vessel.

- Engage in maintenance and support activities, including diagnosing problems, responding to incidents, and applying patches in a timely manner.

- Possess extensive expertise in middleware standards and optimal practices for building a robust and resilient environment.

- Maintain, monitor, and support the IT support team in matters related to cybersecurity, best security practices, and backup solutions.

- Oversee and manage IT hardware procurement requests, with responsibility for vessel handover and takeover procedures.

- Provide off-hours and weekend support as an essential member of the on-call support team.

- Fulfill and meet monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for vessel ticketing, communication tasks, and ongoing projects.

Requirements

- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or an equivalent field.

- Demonstrate a minimum of five years of experience in deploying IT systems.

- Possess expertise in Microsoft Operating Systems and Applications (including Office 365, MS Windows Server, Windows 10, Active Directory), Antivirus software, network switches, UPS, firewalls, storage/backup, and replication systems (Certifications are advantageous).

- Excel in Hyper-V and Remote Desktop Environments, particularly involving thin clients.

- Understand IT infrastructure, cloud services, and communication systems, along with proficiency in data cabling, communication, and Wi-Fi infrastructure.

1) Process – Process end-to-end payroll for an organisation with a headcount of 500 or more, including but not limited to, pro-ration of salary for new hires and resignees, submission of monthly CPF and refunds, submission of NS and Government Paid Leave claims, processing transport/dental claims from employees, ensuring accuracy of bank details and timely submission of bank files, providing payroll GL to the finance team for reconciliation, filing of IR21 for foreigner resignees and annual IR8A, etc.

2) Coordinate – Correspond with HR business partners to retrieve data and inputs necessary for relevant pay elements.

3) Investigate – Report data inaccuracies in payroll systems and report to managers and clients for advice. Highlight and recommend improvements and solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

4) Audit – Maintain a secured archival of payroll files to support annual and ad-hoc audit exercises.

Scope of Services

The Services required are set out as follows:

(a) Information and Communications Technology (ICT) & AV support for school events

· The Personnel shall be in charge of the setup, operation, and maintenance of AV equipment in school compounds.

· The Personnel shall provide technical support in lighting, audio, video and stage for events by the Authority or external organizations.

• Lighting - Involves setting up, operating, and managing lighting equipment used during events.
• Audio - Setup and management of audio equipment, such as microphones, speakers, mixer soundboards (both digital and analogue), and any other audio-related technology. The Personnel ensures that the sound quality is optimal for both live audiences and recordings, if applicable. He/she shall handle the balancing of audio levels, manage live feeds, and ensure clear audio delivery for speeches, music, and other sound elements of the event.
• Video - Managing video equipment such as cameras, projectors, screens, and video editing tools. The personnel will be involved in live-streaming events, recording them for later broadcast, or displaying various visual elements on screens during the event. He/she shall ensure the video quality and visual content are aligned with the event's objectives.
• Stage Management - Setting up and managing the physical stage where the event takes place. The Personnel shall provide assistance to ensure that the stage is safe, properly arranged, and equipped with necessary elements like podiums and seating arrangements. He/she shall coordinate with the Authority’s staff to ensure smooth transitions between different segments of each event, such as speeches, performances, or presentations.

(b) Assist Authority’s staff in the setup of AV equipment

· The Personnel shall assist Authority’s staff in setting up ICT/AV equipment for events, meetings and lessons when required.

· The Personnel shall assist teachers in video-recording school events and lessons when required.

· The Personnel is expected to supervise students who are tasked to video-record school events.

· The Personnel shall supervise & guide Media Club during their activities in the area of audio & visual skills set.

· The Personnel shall conduct AV training for students and staff when required.

(c) ICT/AV Planning and Procurement

· The Personnel shall work with HOD (ICT) / ICT Manager / ICT Associate to propose solutions to ICT/AV persistent challenges that the Authority is facing which includes technical specifications and cost of implementations.

· The Personnel shall assist HOD (ICT) / ICT Manager / ICT Associate with the procurement process with regards to ICT/AV related solutions and services.

(d) Managing ICT & AV Resources

· The Personnel shall assist ICT department in managing the Authority's ICT & AV resources such as condemnation of ICT & AV equipment and the loan of ICT & AV equipment.

· The Personnel shall conduct annual maintenance of hardware and carry out troubleshooting and basic repair of ICT & AV equipment.

(e) Media Post Production

· The Personnel are anticipated to play an integral role in the post-production process of video and audio recordings captured by the Authority’s staff.

· Video editing – He/she shall compile the raw footage, cut and arrange the clips to create a coherent narrative or sequence. This includes selecting the best takes, arranging them in the desired order, and ensuring the flow of the video aligns with the project's goals. In addition, he/she shall be required to add titles, subtitles, and any on-screen graphics required for the video.

· Sound Editing and Mixing – He/she shall work on dialogues, background noises, and other audio elements. He/she shall remove unwanted sounds, enhance clarity of dialogues, and may add ambient sounds or effects to enrich the audio quality. He/she shall select or compose the right music or soundtrack for the video.

(f) Other Tasks

· Any other duties assigned by the Authority.

Qualification, Skill & Experience of the Contractor’s Personnel

The Personnel shall preferably have certification/qualification in AV-related field. The Personnel shall have at least 4 years of working experience in handling audio and visual equipment for events.
