Essential Functions:

• Providing support to the Accounts Department
• Accounts receivable functions such as processing invoices, keeping track of receivables and filing and updating of received records.
• Accounts payable functions such as verification of invoices received, preparing payments observing credit terms and limits and filing and updating payment records.
• Handling communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person
• Prepares financial reports and GST reports for assigned accounts
• Process relevant government agencies application and filing
• Bank Reconciliation of assigned accounts
• Petty cash reimbursement for assigned departments
• Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies
• Update and report to superiors of any irregularities in accounts.
• Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing the mail, etc
• Duties, responsibilities and activities may change when required, however, the duties assigned with remain relevant to the accounting functions and advised by immediate superior(s).

Required Education and Experience

• Minimum Diploma in any discipline, & minimum one years of working experience in accounting role.
• Knowledge of accounting terminology and basic bookkeeping procedures
• Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
• Data entry and word processing skills
• Strong aptitude for numbers, spreadsheets, and financial reports
• Excellent computer skills; experience in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite

Assistant Cook Job Description:

An Assistant Cook, or Assistant Chef ensures the kitchen is orderly and assists Cooks to prepare and arrange food. Their duties include cleaning the kitchen area, washing dishes and utensils and ensuring that the Cook has everything required to run the kitchen efficiently.

Assistant Cook duties and responsibilities:

• Assisting the Cook in food preparation activities, such as cleaning, cutting, chopping and peeling food ingredients
