• Identify and establish strategic partnership opportunities that contribute to DCS’ growth and expansion plans in its engagement efforts. This includes environmental scan of latest NE landscape and innovative trends.
• Drive partnership initiatives across 3P (Public, People and Private) sectors to profile and promote DCS as choice National Education/Total Defence partner.
• Coordinate with external partners and internal stakeholders on partner-related activities from event management to MOU/partnership agreements/projects.
• Support DCS strategy planning and development. This includes implementing, monitoring and evaluating organisation-wide KPIs for performance review, preparing analysis and insight reports for management, planning and coordinating of workplan planning to ensure organisational alignment.
• Support CEO’s office in organising and engaging stakeholders at DCS events (launches, official visits, learning journeys)
• Other duties as assigned by Director/Deputy CEO/ CEO

Requirements:

• Degree in Arts and Social Sciences; Business Mgt or other relevant disciplines;
• Minimum 3-5 years relevant working experience, preferably in arts & culture or National Education/Total Defence-related agencies;
• Excellent communication, inter-personal, event & project management, analytical and facilitation skills;
• Motivated team player and able to work flexible hours when required;
• Able to multi-task and handle tight deadlines;
• Good command of spoken and written English;
• Good knowledge and application of MS Office applications, especially Powerpoint and Excel;
• Experience in using data analytics and visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI) would be an advantage; and
• Passion in Singapore Story and National Education & interest in current affairs

Responsibilities:

• Oversees daily operations with manpower under his charge
• Planning and reviewing of SOP for operational processes and policies
• Assists in the preparation of annual operation budgeting
• Drafting of reports and presentations facilities-related matters
• Executing functionality in dept System and facilities-related modules
• Put up purchase request for facilities items
• Prepares lease or maintenance contracts
• Supports the Facilities Manager in all other functions necessary

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in any disciplines
• Min 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in lease management
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Word/Excel).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

The International Engagement Department (IED) supports IPOS’ vision by establishing relationships with foreign IP stakeholders, including government agencies, institutions, creators, entrepreneurs, and others to position Singapore as a vibrant marketplace for IP transactions and commercialisation.

Reporting to the Desk Head, you will be responsible for the following:

• Support the department in coordinating various aspects of events planning and execution. These include pre-event activities such as procurement, stakeholder coordination and setup, as well as post-event tasks like summarising event outcomes and feedback.
• Support the department in coordinating various aspects of overseas trips. These include pre-event planning such as booking of flights, accommodations and arrangements for the trip to post-events tasks such as reimbursements and billing.
• Collaborate with team members, business units and various stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of events and activities. These include facilitating clear communication and addressing stakeholder needs and concerns throughout the planning and execution process.
• Address any other administrative and operational requirements within the office, including general invoicing and billing matters, note taking and filing, to ensure smooth and efficient daily operation.
• Track and maintain deliverables of events and cooperation agreements and/or programmes with various partners.
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned to you.
