Responsibilities:

· To implement and maintenance of all quality and food safety control processes are in compliance to company’s standard, ISO22000 and local statutory requirement.

· Responsible for the compliance with MUIS Halal Standards, application and renewal of Halal Certification

· Establish/review HACCP study, food safety & quality policy, manual and, SOP

· To perform site inspections for continuous feedback and track improvements.

· Drive continuous improvement project to sustain food quality and safety in central kitchen

Requirements:

• Support in production to ensure finished goods samples are collected and ensuring that correct samples are collected by the productions.
• Responsible for equipment preventive and maintenance and periodic calibration.
• Maintain good record keeping for audits and certification renewal.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

1. Diploma / Degree in Food Science / Food Technology or other Science or related disciplines.
2. Minimum 1 year work experience in QAQC related field in food industry, preferably from food manufacturing.
3. Familiar with food regulatory / retail hygiene requirement is an added advantage.
4. Strong knowledge (implementation, maintenance and experience in the audit requirements) in FSSC22000 is preferred.

Main duties and responsibilities:

· Performs and monitors daily company activities such as permit declarations, warehouse, logistics (but not limited to), to ensure that they comply with laws and regulations of Singapore Customs compliance, Certification & Licensing requirements, ISO, Biz Safe, SFA, NEA, etc.

· Conducts consolidation in evidence ie supporting documents from various departments and review existing or create new write ups, to ensure ISO 9001 Renewal, Biz Safe Certification Renewal, Singapore Customs Secure Trade Partnership Renewal, Singapore Customs TradeFirst Assessment Renewal, and document updates.

· Conduct periodic operations review (SOP) to monitor adherence to compliance procedures are being followed.

· Assist in conducting the internal investigation of compliance issues and brainstorm on remedy actions to minimise if possible, to eliminate the non-conformance.

· Assist in conducting periodic reviews on warehouse and logistics work safety. This includes review of risk assessments with risk management practices and to take corrective actions where necessary.

· Evaluates operation team members’ knowledge and prepare course materials to provide the necessary training, re-training, coaching and guiding the individuals to ensure compliance and adhere to SOP and driving the productivity, efficiency, accuracy and understanding their roles.

· Constantly stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations and keep track of applicable laws and any changes to those laws. This includes sharing any Singapore Customs Newsletters and New Circulars to the relevant departments.

· Provide assistance with creating, reorganizing or establishing any process, procedures and/or systems. This includes help to ensure that new processes and systems are implemented smoothly and that any issues are identified and addressed quickly.

· Aid in ad-hoc operational support to the Operations Team such as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues and providing training and support to users on Systems and Handheld Devices, where necessary.

Maintain standards and quality processes in food manufacturing operations;

• Conduct daily in-process quality control inspections at production lines to ensure alignment with internal requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices

• Assist in export documentation consolidation and Health Certificate application
• Assist in monitoring and inspecting company infrastructure, equipment and utilities

Job Description:

• Conduct process verification and validation exercise (i.e. SOP/ Machinery/ CCP verification, new product launch process observation, machinery cleanliness check via ATP swab, weighing scale verification, monthly facilities check, mock recall exercise, FG shelf-life verification and to put in records).

• Perform daily periodic walk-around of production, warehouse area to ensure compliance to in-house GMP, GMP and GWP, FG specifications and SOP.

• Conduct monthly checks and data analysis on retention samples to evaluate product stability.

• Coordinate with microbiological laboratory for sample collection and lab reports.

• Collect information and data to conduct trend analysis.

• Participate in trials and follow up on required information.

• Supervise and ensure the handling and processing operations are in accordance with the general guidelines of Halal food within the premises.

• Conduct periodic checks on delivery trucks’ pre-cool and supply chain temperature to ensure cold chain management and follow up with drivers and vendors for corrective actions.
