To encourage broad participation across the banking industry, the firm will be actively engaging leading banks to join the platform to establish the scale required to benefit the industry. For this role, you are doing a broad compliance and ERM role and reporting to the Head of Compliance.

Responsibilities

Enterprise Risk Management (“ERM”)

• Develop and maintain a Fit-for-Fintech startup ERM strategy, framework and methodology, and translate them into implementation plans.
• Drive and facilitate the implementation and adoption of the risk management framework, programmes, and processes across the organization.
• Collaborate closely with the entities and functional leads to facilitate effective identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring of risks.
• Oversee the periodic reporting of risks to the management and senior stakeholders.
• Develop a centre of excellence for risk matters within the team, and build risk management capabilities and awareness across the organization.
• Promote and develop a culture that embraces the management of risks.

Core Compliance Program

• Develop and implement a Fit-for-Fintech compliance framework/program
• Develop and maintain a risk-based Sanctions and Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC) Risk Management program to assure compliance with all relevant laws, rules, and regulations.
• Provide leadership and collaboration with the Business, Legal and other internal functions to ensure the effective implementation of the Compliance program requirements across the firm.
• Direct the development and implementation of compliance policies, procedures and controls across the organization.
• Partner with business leaders to instill and embed a culture ofcompliance
• Develop and maintain critical relationships with the regulators, be instrumental in defining and shaping digital assets and emerging technologies regulation.

Financial Crime (“FinCrime”) Program

• Build and implement an enterprise-wide Fit-for-Fintech Financial Crime (“FinCrime”) Compliance program, to include Anti-Money Laundering (“AML”), and Sanctions Compliance
• Establish and ensure reporting of the firm’s FinCrime enterprise-wide FinCrime risk appetite statement and the execution of enterprise-wide FinCrime risk assessments
• Oversee the development of an appropriate FinCrime training program
• Interface with leadership across the business and functions to advise on FinCrime risks and operational or control issues

Key Professional Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business or related field, Master’s Degree, FRM, IRM-ERM or other advanced compliance-related certifications holders are preferred (e.g. CAMS, CFE etc.)
• 10-15+ years of experience in in the financial industry covering financial crimes risk management, business-to-business payments, technology or operational risks experience in payments or financial services.
• Strong working knowledge in Financial Crimes subject matter across AML, Anti-Bribery Corruption, and Sanctions
• Good understanding of MAS (or G7 countries) regulatory compliance requirements. Knowledge of the global regulatory environment/practices is preferred.
• Good knowledge of payments, decentralized finance (DeFi) and blockchain is preferred.
