Job Description & Requirements

Overview The Sales & Marketing Executive will be primarily responsible for executing the sales strategy of the hotel with the ultimate objective of maximizing revenues across all revenue-generating outlets including villas, add-ons and events.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Convert inbound leads and close sales, providing prompt and professional responses to guests.
• Gather market intelligence related to seasonal trends impacting travel decisions and develop promotions for the villa.
• Manage the number and performance of third-party and promotional websites and liaise with providers to ensure optimisation of the hotel’s online position.
• Work closely with the Content manager to develop promotions for the villas.
• Ensure appropriate responses are posted in a timely fashion on all social media platforms.
• Pursuing and maintaining offline relationships with various travel agencies.
• Liaise with the in-house team to ensure continuity of service)
• Encourage positive working relations with all departments through regular communications and feedback.

What we are looking for:

• At least 3 years plus experience in a similar role within a luxury or boutique properties
• Strong project management experience - ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks throughout the day
• Highly motivated, articulate, confident communicator at all levels both with colleagues and guests
• Ambitious, creative and the ability to influence decisions
• High level of customer focus and understanding and providing prompt responses to guests
• Adept at using different software related to the hospitality industry
• Must be able to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Utilize a variety of communication channels, including emails, phone calls, and other mediums, to effectively address client concerns and resolve issues.
• Respond promptly to sales inquiries from customers, collaborating closely with the operational team to facilitate order delivery.
• Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained to meet customer demand.
• Engage in negotiations and finalize deals, while also managing customer feedback.
• Lead operational support for sales by following up with new customers for required information and documentation.
• Oversee day-to-day operational aspects of order fulfillment and customer service.
• Process customer orders, including providing price quotations, conducting stock checks, issuing Proforma invoices, and confirming shipment schedules.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding product pricing and stock availability.
• Coordinate with the Logistics and Accounting departments to ensure smooth order shipments.
• Prepare necessary documents such as Purchase Orders, Pick Lists, Invoices, and inventory checklists.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
• Stay updated on product information, pricing changes, and distribute sales materials to distributors as necessary.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or other professional relevant discipline with at least 2 years of basic accounting experience
• High degree of accuracy, attention to detail
• Good time management with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong in MS Office especially EXCEL and WORDS
• Able to work under pressure in a fast fast-paced and multi-task environment
