Working Location/ Hour : Raffles Place MRT / 9.00am - 6.00pm (Mon - Fri)
Remunerations : Up to $8,500 + benefits + completion bonus
Expected Commencement Date : Sep / Oct 2024 ( 6 Months Contract )
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement communication strategies for company to ensure unified, consistent and positive messages that will define and promote company identity and mission.
- Focus on internal communications and to work in consultation with the PR teams of company shareholders on external corporate communications.
- In consultation with the PR teams of company shareholders, plan and deliver effective corporate and media communication programmes, including press releases and other media/stakeholder issues
- Serve as press and reputation advisor to the leadership team on a range of external relations matters, including but not limited to participation in external conferences in the form of speaking, sponsorship and exhibitions
- Contribute to internal communications campaigns and initiatives that will be primarily undertaken by current team
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to provide advice on communication materials to execute business strategy
- Contribute to the organisation and hosting of staff engagement campaigns, events and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities as part of implementing the communications plan
- Respond to crises or challenging situations in accordance to a crisis communications protocol
- Monitor news media and government sources for any regulatory changes and communicate to internal stakeholders on a timely basis
- Focus on external relations including but not limited to participation in external conferences, sponsorships, speaking, external messaging and press management
- Interface with shareholder PR representative with support from Corporate Communications Executive
Requirements:
-Master, Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Business, Marketing, Public Relations or any related discipline
- Minimum 6 to 8 years of progressive and relevant work experience within MNC environment and across a breadth of corporate communications functions
- From commodities trading industry (upsteam, midstream, downstream), otherwise, those from PR agencies will be plus point
- Experience with press management and the management of media issues, including crisis communications
- Ability to work on a variety of digital platforms
- Basic/amateur design skills for the creation of visuals, infographics, message and collaterals suitable for a variety of target audiences
- Proven performance in achieving positive outcomes in organizational communications
- Sensitive to diverse audiences and demonstrated sound judgement about messaging
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Ability to influence without authority
- Creativity to produce engaging and interesting content
- Ability to multitask and prioritise projects while working under deadline
