The Technical Director, will have the wealth of industry experience to partner with leadership to determine existing technical capabilities, current obstacles to business environment and future opportunities to create roadmaps to rejuvenate the engineering profession. This role will be able to quickly understand the qualitative technical issues and requirements. He/she will be a highly organized self-starter with considerable prior experience as a director in the engineering consultancy industry.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

· Collaborate with leadership team and technical directors to determine existing technical capabilities and future needs

· Provide expertise advice on design quality on infrastructure and building projects and develop expertise of sharing capability within the teams

· Act as a technical adviser for younger engineers in the design and project management of projects.

· Visit project sites as required to observe any possible TFP and TOP/RI non-compliance.

· Submit monthly report to Executive Director on the project issues/non -compliance.

· Direct teams to create knowledge assets, documentations and procedures for effective project management

REQUIREMENTS

· Master or bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline

· More than 25 years of multi-disciplinary project management experience in relevant industry sectors

· Registered with the Professional Board of Engineers/ Board of Architects (except PM and Power)

· Experience in design, design development and contract administration work

· Proven team leader with strong leadership and people skills. Able to plan, organize and deliver project deliverables and bottom line

· Able to lead multiple project teams

· Good business acumen

Requirements:

• A recognised degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum 12 years of Information Technology experience in designing, implementing and supporting IT systems; and more than 8 years proven experience in IT Solutioning.
• Keen appreciation of technologies and strong interest in translating of technology stack to meet business processes and process re-engineering
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services and strong understanding of the different types of IT Systems and architectures.
• Proficiency in programming languages relevant to the technology stack used by the company (e.g., .Net, Java, Python, C#, etc.).
• Experience with web development frameworks and technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js, etc.).
• Understanding of database design, management, and query (SQL, NoSQL).
• Experience in administering and building QlikView/QlikSense, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, etc.
• Experience in Low-Code platform & RPA such as OutSystem, PowerApps, UiPath, Power Automate, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details

• Good written & verbal communication and presentation skills

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and execute MarketLink strategy and plans aligned with Purpose driven Strategy and Aspirations that will drive global business growth.

· Developing and executing overall MarketLink strategies.

· Be a steward of the Griffith Purpose and Values in all external and internal actions and activities aligned with the business.

· Develop and execute strategic customer business (Account) plans to drive segment profitability.

· Achieve planned revenue, operating profit, working capital and related objectives.

· Ability to plan and manage at the strategic and tactical levels.

· Lead in the development and execution of the global business development team MarketLink infrastructure; Manage the overall talent management process including development of individual personnel plans, ongoing evaluation of talent aligned with required responsibilities, implementation of change when required based on performance.

· Lead in the execution of global customer bid contracts pricing actions.

· Leads and aligns with Regional Presidents and Executive Teams to communicate strategy, forecast and margin improvement, resource needs, and client communication.

· Using targeted BI and Sales tools (CRM), manage the sales process which includes overall sales financial management, Sales training, Account plan development/execution, segment performance measurement and management.

· Build structure, develop and manage direct MarketLink team

· Develop and maintain strong global customer relationships by being involved through top level contact at current and potential new customers.

· Support in the organization and strategic management of solutions aligned with complex sales presentations, proposals, RFPs, contracts and negotiations.

· Manage and ensure achievement of the overall Sales function annual budget.

· Ensure a solutions approach by sales personnel to drive growth using targeted core capabilities and new capabilities where identified as opportunities.

· Internally manage, in collaboration with Supply Chain, achievement of targeted OTIF customer levels by leading customer forecasting and ensuring use of processes to manage inventory, new product commercialization and product elimination and obsolescence.

Knowledge & Experience

· 10 yrs. Min. of experience in consultative sales and sales management with extensive experience in international selling

· Exceptional track record of developing and implementing sales strategies that consistently meet or exceed planned objectives.

· Experience in sales of customized product offerings and approach to creating these products using a multifunctional team approach.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

· Strong and proven organization and communications skills. Ability to think creatively to solve complex problems.

· Proven record of developing/improving sales infrastructure and processes.

· Strong financial analytic skills with proven ability to develop plans to meet targeted goals.

· Demonstrated experience as a leadership team member that emphasizes collaborative decision making and a high degree of coordination between functions.
