We are looking for a self-motivated Finance and HR Executive. You have the chance to be one of our core team to implement systems and procedures to corportise our business

Our business includes a retail segment with 2 retail chains selling fast moving consumer goods and religious products, a property rental segment and a direct selling segment.

Responsibilities:

Accounting, General Admin Functions

• Responsible for the full set accounts and day-to-day accounting.
• Perform bookkeeping general ledger, AP, cash management, and bank reconciliation
• Ensure all accounting records are kept up-to-date and maintained promptly and accurately
• Handle all regulatory submissions including GST returns
• Process payments to suppliers
• Liaise with the external auditor and tax agents
• Report to the Directors and handle ad-hoc assignments

HR Functions:

• Responsible for full spectrum of HR function
• Responsible in payroll process, claims expenses, and other related matters
• Manage recruitment cycle including sourcing, arrange for interview, and salary proposal
• Process Work pass application, renewable and cancellation
• Coordinate with insurance agents with regards to cancellation, renewal, new coverage of insurances

Requirements:

• ACCA/Diploma in Accounting or equivalent with 2 years of relevant work experience
• Possess knowledge in GST, Local Tax Regulations, and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS)
• Self -motivated. well organized, meticulous, and able to multi-task
• Ability to converse and liaise with external vendors and suppliers

Key Responsibilities:
As an Admin and Finance Executive, you will support the administrative and financial operations of the company. Your duties will include:

• Assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks, including managing office supplies, answering phones, and maintaining records.
• Processing invoices, payments, and expense claims.
• Assisting with preparation of financial reports.
• Managing company correspondence and documentation.
• Assisting in the coordination of meetings, events, and other office functions.
• Liaising with vendors, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Maintaining accurate and organised filing systems.
• Other ad-hoc duties as required by the team.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.

Preferred:

• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) is a plus.
• Prior internship or experience in an administrative or finance role.

Executive Assistant (Finance operations, West)

This is an expansion role: To provide direct support and report to the Executive Branch Manager to perform subsequent closing reporting, finance, budget, statutory duties, and business operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Cashflow planning – forecast required working capital and actual payment instructions;
• Pricing and cost management – perform prior budget and subsequent actual comparison;
• Subsequent MA and closing work checking, monitor A/P position;
• Subsequent end-month profit adjustment;
• Subsequent business profits and financial position understanding;
• Subsequent reporting to Head Office including accounting, compliance and regulatory reports;
• Engage in subsequent corporate, audit and tax matters;
• Ensure compliance with all internal compliance, audit and tax regulations, including preparing the compliance and regulatory reporting.

Requirements & Competencies:

• Possible minimum 1-year work experience
• Do not require specific certification, however any certification in basic accounting relating and office-management fields can prove helpful and preferential.
• Skills such as problem-solving, time management and organizational skills, interpersonal skills and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes are necessary.
• Good working knowledge of computer applications such as MS Office, advanced Excel skills including Vlookup and pivot tables.
• A hands-on independent individual with clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented, analytical, hardworking and responsible person (demands attention to details).
• Ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.
• A team player in a diverse environment.

Qualification:

• Either an associate or bachelor degree holder
