About the job

This role will report to the HR Director based in Singapore. Working closely with the team and business stakeholders, you will:

• Manage end-to-end HR activities including talent acquisition, onboarding and offboarding, performance management, payroll, compensation and benefits
• Drive talent acquisition efforts and build a steady talent pipeline for the region
• Support monthly in-house payroll and annual performance cycle
• Point of contact to employees and management for all HR matters
• Develop and implement HR policies and programmes in alignment to business objectives and local legislation
• Support other HR initiatives

Skills and experience required

• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years’ of HR Generalist experience
• Strong communication skills and relationship management
• Solid knowledge of local labor legislation and practices of Singapore
• Independent and self-motivated
• Collaborative and a team player

Job Description:

• Assist with the onboarding and offboarding of employees
• Conduct employee orientation and provide information about company policies and benefits.
• Perform day-to-day operations of the HR functionaries includes maintain and update of employee records, including personal information, attendance, and performance evaluations.
• Handle employee inquiries and concerns regarding HR-related matters.
• Prepare and process end-to-end payroll process on a regular schedule, including monthly salary, overtime computation, salary adjustments, bonus, employee attendance and leave.
• Handle payroll queries and discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
• Administer employee benefits programs (insurances and medical benefits)
• Administration of Work Passes (application, renewal, and cancellation)
• Assist in the recruitment cycle from posting of job advertisements to shortlisting and scheduling interviews.
• To manage the staff resignation / end of contract and exit clearance matters.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of necessary reports and documentation to government authorities. (NS makeup pay, maternity/paternity, childcare leave, Skills connect etc.)
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Min Diploma in Human Resource/ Business Administration or other relevant qualification
• Min 3 years’ work experience in HR administrative and payroll duties
• Conversant with the use of Ministry portals
• Knowledge of INFO-TECH software will be an advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES / AUTHORITIES:

• Responsible for full spectrum of HR functions including benefits, training, compensation and employee’s benefits administration.
• Liaise with MOM, Agent and other relevant parties on all manpower matters.
• Responsible for reporting and claims in respect of Workmen’s Compensation cases.
• Handle work pass issues, renewal and termination
• Be the liasor party for payroll matters with payroll outsourcing company and employee
• Support in employee engagement projects, government grants matters and
• Any other tasks or special projects, which may be assigned by the management from time to time.

RESOURCE REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Human Resource Management (HRM) and/or Diploma in Business Studies.
• Minimum 4 years relevant experience in the same capacity and familiar with labour law and payroll administration.
• Possess good communication skills and able to interact with staff at all levels.
• Pleasant, responsible and friendly personality
• Good IT skills is essential
