Job scope

• Attend to a range of enquiries from users including loan and membership transactions, feedback, and assist in the use of library resources and facilities.

• Train, manage, and participate in the assessment of a pool of Student Assistants.

• Provide a range of services in various libraries during the evening and weekends opening hours.

• Provide access to course reserves in support of teaching and learning, including the overseeing the operations to process, track, and re-shelve reserves in a timely manner.

• Manage the libraries including basic troubleshooting of equipment and working condition of library facilities.

• Assist in office administrative work which includes (but is not limited to) rostering of staff and Student Assistants, collation of statistics, budget tracking, procurement etc.

Requirements

• A recognized Diploma in any field. Salary range between $2,500 - $3,200, depending on experience.

• Work experience in libraries or service-oriented organizations is advantageous.

• Familiarity with library management systems (e.g. Alma) would be beneficial.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the quality of service and repair work carried out by his team.
• Responsible for conducting both in-progress and final quality check of vehicles.
• Responsible for the accuracy of technicians workshop time recording.
• Responsible for on-the-job training of apprentices/ technician.

• Determine the team capacity available on the basis of mechanic units and maximize work bays and technicians utilization in a way that promised delivery date can be kept.
• Inform the workshop manager on lacked of available technician capacity immediately.
• Monitor the progress of work according to priorities agreed with CSA/CSM / WM.
• Ensure that daily / weekly repair order for the technicians are properly stamped in and out.
• Ensure that diagnosis and rectification correctly address customer complaint.
• Report necessary additional repair works immediately to the CSA, inform on the possibility of performing them (capacity) and ask for approval.
• Liaise with CSA on extra work to be done. II approved, enter the flat rates and the specification of such work in the repair order.

Requirements:

• Minimum Higher Nitec in Automotive Technology (Light Vehicle)
• Possess Valid Class 3 Singapore driving licence
• Experience in Automotive service and repair
