Job Responsibilites

• Develop new business accounts and maintain strong relationships with new and existing key clients for assigned verticals and customer segments
• Develop and grow company’s products and services to achieve sales Key Performance Indicators (KPI) throughout the year

• Solicitating potential clients (sales leads) to establish rapport and arrange meeting including:

1. Cold calling
2. Scheduling of said meetings
3. Meeting with customers within your territory
4. Issuing quotations and preparing bids to secure sales with customers
5. Preparing and leading formal presentations for prospective customers, demonstrating services offered

• Handle and follow up with all sales queries from customers and sales leads, including:

1. Preparing sales proposals, tenders, requests for quotations
2. Rate negotiation with agents/vendors
3. Accurate recording of sales and quotations details
4. Following up on severely delinquent customers, assisting the finance department with minimizing overdue accounts receivable balances from clients

• Oversee all new business throughout sales cycle including on-boarding, implementation, coordination, after-action reviews and profit variance analysis
• Any other adhoc duties assigned

Job Requirements

• With at least 4 years of relevant expereince in freight forwarding industry
• Min. Diploma in Business Management or relevant studies

Responsibilities:

• Identify, research and develop new business opportunities for growth.
• Analyse the market and industrial segments data and trend

Requirements:

• Preferably more than 8 years in Commercial Sales, Marine, Engineering or Marketing fields related to any of the sectors in marine/ ship repair / shipbuilding / owner’s rep / offshore equipments / offshore vessels / offshore fabrications
• Degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent.
• Knowledge in the Marketing and Business Development relating to the Marine Industry and Yachting community is preferred
• Strong experience in cost estimation and analysis for ship repair projects
• Experience in subcontracting and major equipment procurement is advantageous
• Familiar with bidding and tender protocols.
• Self-motivated with ability to handle multiple opportunities and projects concurrently
• Out-going with ability to communicate and market ideas and concepts
• High attention to personal presentation and ability to converse in a professional manner
• Critical attention to detail, and be success driven.
• Must be willing to travel, and at short notice when required

Management Reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, ACCA, or equivalent with 10+ years of relevant experience

• Previous audit or public accounting experience is a plus
