JOB SCOPE:
1. Market, coordinate and manage marine and offshore energy (M&OE) industry skills and testing certification programmes. This includes courses aligned with the M&OE Industry Transformation Plan on marine decarbonisation and digitalisation, and offshore wind.
2. Market, coordinate and manage M&OE industry Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) training needs at worker / supervisor levels aligned with the national WSH Council vision
DUTIES:
1. Market, coordinate and manage M&OE industry skills and testing certification programmes. This includes:
- Courses pertaining to decarbonisation, digitalisation and offshore wind, at both foundation and masterclass levels
- Administering testing programmes
- Identifying and developing new skills testing standards and competencies as needed
2. Market, coordinate and manage M&OE industry WSH training needs at worker / supervisor levels aligned with the national WSH Council vision. This includes:
- Organising and coordinating WSH related training courses
- Organising and managing the annual ASMI WSH Innovations Convention, which promotes innovation and productivity in WSH at the workplace
- Managing the ASMI WSH Committee
3. Others
- Provide secretariat support to ASMI Council Meeting
- Support ASMI events and activities as needed
- Undertake special projects and ad-hoc assignments as required by the Executive Director
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum diploma qualification in any discipline
- 2 years working experience preferred; fresh graduates with internship experience in the M&OE sector may also apply
- Meticulous, organised and able to work to set timelines
- Able to engage all stakeholders (internal and external)
- Technologically savvy in Microsoft’s suite of services (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc), online meeting platforms and other communication software or applications
- Able to operate independently, and with different organisational teams
