Facilities Management
· General administration of all building works/ service contracts, security, carpark management.
· Coordinate activities concerned with operation, repair, maintenance and construction of facilities, equipment buildings and grounds to minimise interruption and improve efficiency.
· Check for compliance of all safety equipment, work methods and procedures and the prompt rectification of any unsafe situations, and enhancement of security of the building.
· Control and supervise all building works carried out by maintenance staff and service contractors including the conduct of spot checks/roll calls.
· Oversea outsource maintenance team performance in accordance with contractual work scope and timeline completion.
· Monitor of KPIs to ensure compliance with performance frameworks for all related vendors etc.
· Ensure effective communication within team and internal /external stakeholders’ users to achieve their assigned KPIs, for the execution of maintenance, repair and building works;
· Conduct regular inspections on building, facilities and equipment to determine the need for repairs or renovation, and to audit vendor performance
Housekeeping, Sterilization, Linen and Portering Services
· Oversee and manage hospital housekeeping, sterilization, linen and pottering services, through third party service providers of the hospital
· Conduct regular inspections on cleanliness and delivery of services to ensure timely, accurate and quality service
· Manage patients, staff and stakeholders’ feedback on service delivery
Vendor Management Role
· Manage IFM service
· Manage security service
· Manage and evaluate the performance for third party service providers in delivering their contracted services
· Develop service requirement and standards for tendering or procuring of Facilities Management Services
· Work closely with service providers to implement and monitor strategies to overcome audit findings and service gaps
· Review reports and billing documents
Project Management Role
· Plan, execute and coordinate projects
· Prepare and manage project schedule to ensure project completion within scope and on time
Job Requirements:
· Degree with minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Integrated Facilities Management (IFM), Project Management (PM) preferably from healthcare industry
· Well-versed in both Hard and Soft Facilities Management (FM)
· Strong knowledge in vendor and people management
· Proficient in Workplace Safety and Health, and fire safety
· Fire Safety FSM/ SMC/ SIC/ CERT Trained
· BizSafe Level 2 Certification is preferred
· Certification or training in Facilities Management (FM), Housekeeping (HK), Project Management (PM), Equipment Sterilization and Handling are preferred
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· Good analysis and problem-solving skills
· Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
· Ability to interpret Single Line Diagrams / Blueprints
· Team player with initiative and excellent service attitude
· Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
