The job
In the beginning of your employment you will be train in Singapore, where you will undergo in-house training in our products, both theoretical and practical. Here after you will be sent on service visits on vessels around the world.

Your primary tasks will be:

· Service jobs in fields of mechanics and electronics (performing installations etc.).

· Testing existing electrical projects.

· Troubleshooting and repairing internal and external.

· Customer instructions and customer service when you are on board the vessel.

· Overhaul of lubricators.

You have to be prepared on traveling approx. 130 days a year and need to be able to travel on short notice, also on public holidays, to implement service tasks on vessels which are either sailing, in port or in dock.

Your profile

We imagine that you have a background as marine engineer, preferable with sailing, knowledge of electrical and mechanical experience as well as engine would be an added advantages. You are used to working according to instructions and diagram-drawings. It will be an advantage if you already have experience in travel work.

The National University Health System Virtual Care Centre (NUHS VCC) is an initiative where trained personnel provides tele-triage to patients and/or their caregivers. VCC will either provide advice and resolve the clinical question or escalate to the VCC clinician where appropriate. SingHealth Experimental Medicine Centre runs several core facilities for translational research in SingHealth. Reporting to the Veterinary Manager, you will be responsible in supporting the implementation of policies and initiatives for animal husbandry and care.

You will be involved in the maintenance of animal inventory, equipment and facilities to ensure full compliance with the National Advisory Committee for Laboratory Animal Research (NACLAR) guidelines, Animal and Veterinary Service (AVS) requirements and American Association for Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care (AAALAC) international standards. You are also responsible for ensuring the provision of veterinary husbandry and care to support training and research activities in the centre. NCCS Research Admin Department is looking for a dedicated Lab Assistant who can help manage our Glassware Autoclave Room.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Autoclaving and Washing

• Collect glassware and materials to be washed and autoclaved from laboratories.
• Perform glassware washing and autoclave sterilization of glassware and liquids as needed.
• Inspect glassware for cleanliness and proper sanitation.
  Report any malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor for immediate attention.
• Comply with laboratory safety practices, policies, and procedures.

2. Quality Inspection

• Conduct quality control assessments on sterilizers and document the records.

3. Inventory Management
