The Responsibilities:

• Checking and finalizing monthly financial closing
• Preparing monthly reports (for head office)

• Responding to accounting audits
• Corporate tax calculation

• Responding to survey requests from head office (on key metrics)
• Budget formulation (consolidation)
• Budget vs. actual management
• Preparing board of directors and shareholder meeting materials (in Japanese)
• Valuation support (approximate), able to create discounted cash flow (DCF) models

• Reviewing business investments
• Team management (supervising 3 subordinates)

The Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with minimum 10 years of relevant working experience
• Proficiency in Japanese language to smoothly and effectively communicate and present to Japanese Native Stakeholders and Customers
• Possess strong knowledge of accounting principles and standard
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Good team player, meticulous, and independent

This role will focus on managing HR operations and supporting financial tasks to ensure efficient and compliant processes across both areas. The ideal candidate has experience in HR administration, payroll processing, and basic financial functions, as well as a solid understanding of Singapore employment regulations and financial practices.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources (HR) Responsibilities:

1. Payroll Processing: Ensure timely and accurate monthly payroll processing, including overtime, allowances, deductions, and CPF contributions.

Finance Responsibilities:

1. Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage invoicing, track payments, handle petty cash, and ensure timely payments to vendors and clients.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma/Degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in HR and/or finance, with familiarity in Singaporean employment laws and accounting principles.
• Skills:Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with payroll/financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or MYOB).
  Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
  Good communication skills and ability to work in a diverse team.
  Analytical and problem-solving skills to manage HR and finance processes effectively.
  
• Preferred: Familiarity with Singaporean CPF, IRAS tax requirements, and MOM regulations.
