Job Responsibilities:
1. Support EHS dept on routine functions such as daily inspections, training and documentation.
2. Familiar with Safety, health & environment legislations.
3. Conduct risk assessments and prepare method statement.
4. Tabulate monthly EHS performance indicator and conduct EHS inspection to identify hazards with implementation of corrective action.
5. Assist in conducting accident/ incident and near miss investigations and monitor corrective actions.
6. Participate on monthly & daily workplace inspection to detect existing or potential hazards, recommend corrective or preventive actions and follow up to ensure that measures have been implemented.
7. Maintain and control all IMS documentations and attend to internal & external parties audits.
8. Assist the EHS Manager/Management in managing the Permit to Work system.
9. Conduct relevant training such as safety induction course and EHS related training.
10. Assist with conducting emergency response drills and CERT emergency response.
11. Assist with licensing matters with relevant local authorities.
12. Assist with monthly PUB and NEA reporting.
13. Liaise with supplier on PPE purchase and distribution.
14. Familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & bizSAFE standards and audit procedures.
15. Ad-hoc duties as assigned by the EHS Manager/Management.
Requirements:
1. Preferably possess Degree/ Diploma in Occupational Safety and health or equivalent field.
2. Proficient in English and good communication skills.
3. Candidate must possess internal auditor certificate for ISO 14001 or ISO 45001.
4. WAH, Confined Space certifications are an added advantage.
5. Must have good computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and database entry.
6. Experience working in oil and gas, chemical or waste management industry.
7. Possess positive working attitude.
8. At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
