• Responsible for handling the company’s end to end sourcing and procurement operations to fulfil the order enquiries timely.
• Work and coordinate closely with site, vendors, PM, QS and other related functions in sourcing/procuring required items
• Negotiate with vendors / contractors to ensure “best value for money” buys are executed and transparent purchasing process
• Review all submissions of document involving purchasing before submitting for Management’s approval
• Perform competitive bidding when required for new purchases to ensure cost competitiveness without sacrificing quality
• Create invoices in software and maintain records/file in the system
• Monitor the purchase orders and ship items according to the required dates
• Arrange and coordinate closely the shipment request with the logistic team/appointed forwarders
• Build and establish rapport with suppliers for service & quality improvement
• Conduct supplier review and develop strategy for improvement
• Attend, liaise and close any quality related issues with the vendors and site
• Other ad-hoc jobs related to sourcing, procurement and shipping.

Requirements:

• Min Diploma
• Preferred 3 years’ relevant working experiences. Candidate with more years' of experience may be considered for a senior position
• Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of vendor sourcing practices
• Comfortable with informational hunt and have good analytical skills
• Experience in online shopping platform (such as Taobao, Amazon etc) will be a value add.
• Prefer to have work experience in any of these areas: Resorts or Hotel procurement or Electrical engineering and not limited to those mentioned above.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team

We have several available postdoctoral and research assistant positions at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) to work in the area of Robotics. This position focus on supporting the design of algorithm for various robotics applications.

Qualification:
- Relevant Degree in Electrical Engineering, , Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or related areas
- Strong hands on experience Preference will be given to those with prior robotics project experience such as:
1) SLAM;
2) ROS;
3) Sensor fusion;
4) Machine Learning;
5) Mobile platforms (eg: wheeled robots, legged robots); and
6) Manipulators

Job Responsibilities:

I) Data Management and Analysis

• Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing financial data from various sources
• Utilize advanced Excel functions (eg, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros) to manipulate and analyze data effectively
• Financial Reporting: Support the finance team in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Create and maintain financial dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends

II) Automation of Processes:

• Identify repetitive tasks and processes suitable for automation within the finance department
• Develop and implement Excel-based automation solutions to streamline data entry, reporting, and analysis

III) Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights for financial analysis
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving financial processes and reporting

Job Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
