Team Introduction

The financial accounting team handles the core responsibilities of financial accounting of entities where the team is responsible for establishing in-region accounting for a group of businesses, advising and working with the business and collaborating cross-functionally and will be responsible for providing financial accounting solutions of the Company, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual books, and review, analyze, and report under the accounting principles and other related regulations.

Responsibilities

- In charge of APAC entities, including but not limited to Singapore entities

- Post journal entries to ensure monthly and quarterly closing goes smoothly - Prepare trial balance and financial statements

- Perform monthly account reconciliation. etc - Assist reporting to liaise with external auditors in annual financial audit and statutory reporting for the group

- Prepare financial data to support the tax team to complete tax submission

- Prepare related financial data for government declarations

- Provide financial data according to the business needs of other departments

- Work with tax, treasury, FSSC and other finance departments in local compliances work

- Support ad-hoc projects such as system migrations

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting or Finance.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in an accounting/finance or a similar position.

- Solid understanding of full sets of accounting process, with a strong passion towards the e-commerce industry.

- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with Oracle system highly preferred.

- Big 4 experience is preferred.

- Well-versed with IFRS and familiar with local financial regulations in the APAC region is a plus.

Responsibilities

1. Finance & accounting

- Assist Managers with Company, Fund and External Asset Management accounting and financial reporting

- Prepare offshore accounts

- Assist in coordinating annual audits

- Coordinate quarterly GST and annual tax prepared by tax agents

- Open and maintain bank accounts

2. Cash management

- Prepare monthly payments and payment vouchers

- Update bank reconciliation and cashflow

3. Coordinate corporate secretarial work and tax for local and overseas entities

4. Administer KYC verifications on incoming and ongoing clients

5. Compliance

- Assist with MAS compliance reporting and IRAS annual CRS & FATCA reporting for Funds

Duties

• Generate Inpatient billings.
• Submit MediShield claims via CPF portal.
• Update Oracle Collection module on MediShield payout.
• Submit Medisave claims via CPF portal.
• Update Oracle Collection module on CPF Medisave payout.
• Write to NOK to settle any outstanding amounts not covered by MediShield Life and Medisave.
• Issue receipts for all modes of settlement and deposit cash/cheque.
• Check all visit logs entered by homecare doctors and nurses to ensure accuracy.
• Liaise with homecare doctors and nurses for amendments, if any, of visit logs wrongly updated previously.
• Monthly review of homecare subsidies for both new and existing homecare patients to ensure that they are accurately updated in the system by homecare admin.
• Quarterly upload/submission to MOH via ILTC portal for homecare subvention claims.
• Quarterly submission to AIC for claims on consumables and assistive devices for homecare patients.
• Undertake to keep oneself well informed of the updated industry guidelines and develop new skills that are necessary for the job.

Requirements

• Prior experience in accounts receivable is required
• Understanding of patient subsidy scheme is an added advantage
