What You’ll Do

• Partner with key creatives to develop the approach for creating the work and provide clients with estimates of budget and schedule.
• Principal project contact for tracking and reporting progress of work, budgeting and negotiating cost of work, and delivering cost/schedule changes.
• Create, organize, and maintain the overall project schedule.
• Manage the production team.
• Evaluate the project budget and work scope with production accountants to provide management with early, consistent, and accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain the project crew sheet, and adding to the crew sheet through external freelancers to ensure the project is appropriately crewed.
• Collaborate senior management, with a focus on covering the project resource needs and balancing the overall capacity of the studio resources.
• Lead a positive team environment, ensuring a collaborative and respectful work environment for your artists and production teams.

What We’re Looking For

• A positive, proactive and collaborative Producer who has a proven track record delivering commercial projects.
• You probably have 8 or more years experience in Production in all roles work on complex high end projects.
• Highly organised, calm and with solid intuition around project strategy and client management.

Job Summary

Assist the Director of Rooms in the supervision of the housekeeping and laundry operation to ensure product quality standards are met and that optimum service is provided to hotel guests according to hotel or company business objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Participate in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget and financial plans.

· Monitor budget and control expenses with a focus on increasing productivity.

· Maintain proper inventory levels, managing cost per room for supplies and labour (example: bed & bath linen reuse and laundry operation)

· Manage day-to-day staffing requirements, plan and assign work, and establish performance and development goals for employees. Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict and improve employee performance.

· Educate and train all employees in compliance with governmental and safety regulations. Ensure staff is properly trained and has the tools and equipment to carry out job duties.

· Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other department heads.

· May assist with deep cleaning projects and/or assist housekeeping staff during high volume periods.

· To ensure staff in housekeeping annual leave and public holiday leave are cleared as per schedule.

· Does interview and counseling of staff and carry out performance appraisal of staff annually.

· Inspect all assigned suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, guest rooms/suites, equipment, linens, and public areas are clean and in good repair to meet guest satisfaction. Advise employees of deficiencies and instruct on corrective action. Provide adequate retraining as needed.

· Routinely perform all housekeeping duties necessary including making beds, and vacuuming and cleaning guest suites to ensure guest satisfaction.

· Respond to guest complaints, special requests and ensure corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction.

· Carry out special needs and requests of the guests, VIP’s and repeat visitors.

· Maintain and order supplies and equipment in a timely and efficient manner while minimising waste and maintaining “green” initiatives (example: container recycling and cleaning agents).

· Maintain procedures for security of lost and found items.

· To carry out monthly checklist for guest room condition and status in terms of furnishing and fittings.

· To ensure the periodical cleaning schedule for both guest rooms and public area are duly carried out.

· Perform other duties as assigned and may also serve as manager on duty.

The Role

You will be reporting to the Finance manager and responsibilities include AP and AR scope up to closing of accounts. Activities consist of posting of journal entries, reviewing of expenses, processing of payments, performing reconciliations, preparing schedules and financial reports.
