• Lead and drive the daily operations at the cold chain and e-commerce distribution centres (DC) to achieve cost, process efficiency, productivity and ensuring that perishable or temperature-sensitive products at the cold chain DC meet the required quality standards.

Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Lead & design the work plan for assigned IT projects, user requirement gathering, impact and gap analyst, manage their development and delivery
• Manage and reconcile conflicting demands and expectations while trying to meet agreed timelines
• Design and provide solution to business requirement, complete the function and flow optimizing of application and solve performance problems in complex locations
• Analyze and develop technical and functional specifications provided by business users
• Design, code and test programs to support the application systems development plan
• Maintain and support current applications; configure and modify program source codes or scripts
• Design and develop new module add-ons to current systems to meet the changing business demands
• Provide leadership and expertise to the software development team in broad technical areas on various organization-wide projects

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of hand-on experience in software development life cycle using Jave or Microsoft Visual Basic, Microsoft ASPC, PHP, Java script, HTML, .NET framework programming and in which 2 years are in Microsoft Navision and C/Side programming preferred
• Proficient in business requirements gathering, formulate, define and document the functional system specifications
• Good knowledge of MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, windows and Linxu operating systems
  Must have a strong background in software enhancement/development, systems integration experiences

Primary Function:

• Provide leadership in the operations of the Process Research Lab (PRL) and Asia Pilot Plant (APP).
• Support/Lead change control activities, quality impact assessment, investigation, CAPA, and audits for pilot plant operations.
• Implement continuous improvements to enhance efficiency and participate in related cross-functional projects.

Major Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the safety, quality and regulatory compliance of the entire shift operations.
• Ensure timely manufacture of research prototypes that meet the intended research purposes.
• Lead and supervise shift technicians and in-house contract technicians in the operation of multiple process equipment systems.
• Perform routine operations tasks. Monitor and maintain process equipment in compliance with site safety procedures and current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) within the Asia Pilot Plant (APP) and Process Research Lab (PRL).
• Coordinate/support trial material readiness.
• Coordinate ad-hoc maintenance activities. Coordination may include oversight of third-party contractors and vendors.
• Support/lead risk assessment and development of standard operating procedures related to operations and maintenance of process equipment systems.
• Support/lead safety and quality events investigation, identify and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Support/lead and execute equipment qualification (ES/IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Complete review of trial records on time.
• Complete internal and external training assessments on time.
• Provide honest, accurate feedback to peers and superiors and exchange relevant information openly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and enhance productivity.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical Process Technology, Food Technology or related disciplines
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in production/manufacturing, preferably in GMP environment
• Well-versed with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good leadership, organizational and communication skills.
• Good team player with initiative.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks and stay focused effectively.

Accounting and Reporting

• Prepare and review monthly/yearly accounts for 3 Kaefer entities; Singapore, Indonesia and China and ensure timely reporting.
• Sound knowledge of SAP PF1
• Review of balance sheet items and preparation of consolidated balance sheet.
• Monthly group reporting to Head Office in Germany.
• Monthly review of overheads vs budget and forecast.

Cash Management

• Ensure optimum cash management
• Authorise cheques and EFTS
• Monthly cash flow update to Treasury Management System Platform
• Advise management on cash flow implications of operational decisions
• Arrange bank facilities (guarantees,bonds, etc)
• Liaison with bankers
• Advise on all financial implications of project execution starting at tendering stage

Budgetary Control and Strategy Planning

• Budget administration expenses in conjunction with CFO
• Summarized divisional budgets and admin budgets and prepare corporate budgets.
• Compare actuals with budgets on a monthly basis, highlight deviations and suggest corrective measures.

Statutory Compliance

• Monitoring of Tax payments (Employee Income Tax, CIT, WHTs)
• Monitoring of National Social Security & Pension Scheme reporting process
• Monitoring monthly CPF submissions
• Monitoring quarterly GST Return submission
• Liaise with Tax consultants, company secretaries and lawyers

Job Requirements

• Candidate with strong experience background in life science and/or medical device/pharmaceutical industry (or related) with extensive knowledge of GMP/GSP/GDP environment and 3PL/4PL experience will be an added advantage

Principal Responsibilities

(A) During commissioning phase:

· Support for the Operational readiness of the new plant

· Leading the Ops shift team during P&ID walkdowns

· Coordinate with EPC (LE) for walkdown, discuss action items and close out

· Guide Ops team in preparation of Operating procedures & review

· Coordinate with Training Manager for training & competency development

· Participation in SAT and pre-commissioning activities

· Support relevant PSSR activities

(B) During normal plant operation phase:

· Day to day monitoring of the plant and give guidance to the shift operation team

· Planning and coordination of the job with maintenance department

· To troubleshoot the issues and processes when needed (Routine as well as during outages)

· Preparation of Plant Turnaround tasks and coordination of activities

· Keep track of plant chemicals/catalyst etc and order as necessary

· Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) on process incidents and process inducted mechanical failures

· Participate in various PSM elements like Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) /Pre Startup Safety Review

(PSSR), Hazop etc

· Support the Management of Change (MOC) and execute the changes

· Support Projects during development, execution and commissioning

· Represent OPS during Audits, PHA (Hazops), Risk Assessments and manage relevant action closures

Requirements

· 15 years’ experience in petrochemical, refinery or other related industry.

· Experience in working with Gasifiers, Air separation units will be much preferred

· Experience in managing teams and work delegation

· Good at Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

· Must be disciplined to work within a demanding work environment.

· Must have leadership ability and willingness to take on added responsibility.
