Operating under the supervision of the Commercial Manager, the Assistant Commercial Manager is tasked with the following responsibilities:

• Ensuring that vessels under full management adhere to contractual terms outlined in the respective management agreement.
• Informing Technical Superintendents about the management agreement for vessels under their oversight.
• Generating accurate and timely monthly and quarterly accounts/reports.
• Collaborating with the Commercial Manager and respective Technical Superintendent to control and monitor vessel budgets.
• Establishing communication channels with Owners regarding budgetary matters.
• Possessing a comprehensive understanding of the Company’s Management System.
• Effectively implementing the Company’s Management System.
• Contributing to the development or amendment of procedures.

• Preparing budget proposals in coordination with Technical Superintendents and Technical Fleet Managers.
• Submitting budget proposals to vessel owners by the end of each calendar year, ensuring follow-up on relevant issues until approval.
• Distributing approved budgets to all concerned parties.
• Overseeing the purchasing function to control costs.
• Undertaking special tasks and projects as directed by the Commercial Manager or Technical Director.
• Collaborating closely with Technical Department Managers.
• Arranging purchasing training sessions for Purchasers.
• Ensuring that purchasing services align with the purchasing manual.
• Verifying that Purchasers maintain the computerized purchasing program.

Job Scope:

• Issue daily wholesales delivery orders.

• Calculate return for wholesales delivery order & issue wholesale invoices.

• Monitor bank receipt from bank statement.

• Follow up with outstanding payment.

• Arrange cheque collection & bank deposit.

• Issue tax invoices for cake orders & vouchers.

• Assist in monthly intercompany billing.

• Ensure completeness of sales transactions recorded (Receipt voucher & journal voucher).

• Prepare pivot tables for bank statements for retail sales.

• Verify & review invoices before payment processing.

• Ensure invoices are properly recorded in the accounting system.

• Ensure payments & reimbursement are processed timely.

• Perform payment reconciliation for all payment methods.

• Verify new supplier’s bank details & circulate for managements’ approval.

• Assist in preparing some petty cash payment.

• Monitor expiry date for lease agreement.

• Follow up with relevant department for new lease agreement.

• Ensure new lease agreement are taken up & old lease agreement are written off.

• Calculate & prepare monthly lease asset depreciation & finance interest.

• Maintain bank reconciliation & account receivable schedule.

• Maintain schedule for lease assets, lease liabilities & accrued interest.

• Prepare schedule required by auditor & management.

• Perform month-end financial closing according to company’s reporting timeline

• Assist in annual finance audit.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional certification.

• Min. 3 years of relevant working experience.

• Good knowledge of APAC software.

• Able to work on weekends (1 full day & 1 half day per month)

• Comfortable to work in Jurong area

St John’s Home for Elderly Persons is a residential Home under the Ministry of Social and Family Affairs. We have been providing quality and compassionate care to seniors for over 60 years. The healthcare Assistant will play a key role in providing the best care for our residents in the Home.

Objectives of this Role

· Assist in manage the residents of the Home in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, rules, and guidelines.

· Report to Operation Executive (OE) on operation matters and Senior Staff Nurse (SSN) on nursing matters.

· Ensure prompt and quality of service delivery to our residents in our Home.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

· Provide care for elderly residents.

· Cleaning of rooms, kitchen and toilets.

· Assist residents in their daily needs including bathing, changing diapers, preparation, serving and feeding of meals.

· Attend to visitors. (Security screening)

· Doing laundry and ironing for residents.

· Assist in moving residents on wheelchair.

· Clean-up after mealtime and washing of dishes.

· Prepare of food and drinks for Sunday Church Services.

· Kitchen floor washing every evening.

· Spot check of premises in the afternoon.

Requirements:
