As we continue to invest in the expansion of our regional office, this role will initially require a hands-on and can-do approach. The rapid expansion will ensure an exciting and fast-paced journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vendor set-up & management
• Processing of vendor invoices & payments
• Credit terms management
• Weekly AP report creation
• Weekly payment application
• Issue investigation & resolution
• Purchase & expense internal reporting
• Manage the AP elements of the month-end close process
• Liaison and interaction with other departments as needed (e.g. Sales, Treasury, Commercial Finance)

Assist the Accounting Manager with:

• Management of and reporting related to Inventory
• Periodic GST filings, Corporate Tax filings and related reporting in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Implementation and development of company accounting policies and processes
• The annual audit process, and any other external reporting as required
• The implementation of a new ERP system
• Improvement projects, budgetary control and periodic variance analysis 

This position requires high calibre competence with the following skillset:

• Ability to co-ordinate AP operations for a fast-paced regional FMCG MNC
• Experience accounting for inventory an advantage
• ERP systems knowledge (experience with ERP implementation is an advantage)
• Working knowledge of US GAAP & IFRS
• High level of technical ability, alongside strong planning, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Accounting qualification an advantage

Accounts

• Full set of Accounts (eg: GL, AP, AR, Bank reconciliation, forecast, perform month end financial closing and etc)
• Monthly CPF submission
• Quarterly GST Submission
• Monitor and analyses accounting data
• Regularly produce financial reports and statement
• Tax Computation
• Assist in Government matters - IRAS, IR8A, etc
• Main point of contact with Bosses and managing their expectation

HR

• Generate HR documents: Employment Contract, Confirmation Letter, etc.
• Maintain and upkeep of HR database accurately, all employee personal files records are complete and treated in strictest confidence.
• Work Pass administrations and other HR duties as assigned.
• Prepare and coordinate employee on-boarding/off-boarding process.
• Oversee recruitment process including job advertisement posting, resume screening and arranging of interviews, working with external agencies.

Requirements:

• Min 2 years relevant working experience in commercial vehicle workshop and vehicle accident claim would be an advantage
• Knowledge in Xero would be an advantage
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
