• Ensure that safety standards are maintained through monitoring of applicable legal legislations WSH Act, EPMA Act, PPS Act, legal requirements, compliance obligations and other requirements

• Communicate relative or applicable company OHSE practices or standards to external interested parties and (or) respond to distinguished requisitions on HSE Manager confirmation.
• Is responsible in ensuring that the investigation of an incident, accident and near miss are carried out and shall ensure that;

1. A preliminary investigation report and register preventive actions to Management of Change is provided when required, and
2. Emergency Response Programme is carried out.

• Transaction Reconciliation: Ensure all transactions are reconciled daily in Xero against bank statements.
• Daily Cash Statement: Prepare and review daily cash statements.

• Weekly Reporting: Prepare weekly Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, cash flow statements, and manage accounts receivable.

A company providing general offshore support services, drilling rig, support functions and cargo transport operations to the Oil and Gas industry.

Responsible for maintaining full sets of accounts including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, fixed assets accounting and billing.

The candidate is also responsible for timely preparation of monthly management report, tax computation and timely filing of ECI, GST and Corporate tax. Support and coordinate year-end audit and preparation of annual accounts in compliance with SFRS.

JOB SUMMARY:

• Maintain full set of accounts including GL, AP, AR, FA and intercompany transactions and ensure compliance with SFRS and Group Accounting policies. Monthly preparation of individual company reporting pack including intercompany schedule and performance report.
• Liaise with Associate partner finance and operation team to ensure timely, complete and accurate recording of transaction
• Timely generation of monthly reporting pack for Management and associates partner.
• Prompt and accurate monthly Billing to customers and generation of SOA
• Follow up with associates/customers on collections.
• Prepare tax computation for Singapore companies.
• Liaise with Singapore and overseas tax agent to ensure proper filing of service Tax, income tax, WHT tax, GST and corporate tax.
• Coordinate the year-end audit and prepare Financial Statements and XBRL for the entities.
• Assist in the preparation of Group consolidation and Group schedules
• Perform other duties as and when assignedmentmeet deadlines.

QUALIFICATION & COMPETENCY :

• Diploma in Finance and Accounting, Accountancy ACCA or equivalent professional qualifications.
• Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience
• Well versed in accounting standard and statutory requirement
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (including MS Excel)
• Strong analytical and problem solving skill, with a keen eye for details

Main responsibilities:

- Performs a three-way reconciliation on the invoices received from suppliers, the GRN from the vessels and the order from the vessels

- The outcome of this task will result in a request for payment from the management companies

- Ensure that all documentation is scanned and recorded in the appropriate ERP (GDN, order, invoice and GRN)

- Ensure that all journals are properly recorded in the ERP (accounts payable and purchases/operating expense category) – if reconciling differences exist then follow up aiming to clear them

- Reconcile supplier statements and follow up on reconciling differences

- Maintain supplier libraries (e.g. credit dates, credit limits, bank account details, contact details, and registration numbers)

- Maintain libraries mapping product types to suppliers to world-wide

- Reporting:

o Accounts payable based on their maturity date

o Be involved in the budgeting process (accounts payable due per week) to manage liquidity
