REVENUE MANAGEMENT STRAGEGY SUPPORT

• Support the Hotel Management and Director of Revenue Management to define the hotel strategy (in terms of business mix and pricing by season and type of day) for the future periods

REVENUE MANAGEMENT PERFOMANCE

• Analyze in detail the hotels results and performance (average rates, occupancy rates, RevPAR..). Survey the market and competitors in terms of performance (RevPAR Index, market penetration…), pricing and availability as a basis for future tactical decisions with the Hotel GM.

REVENUE FORCASTING

• Ensure an accurate and dynamic forecast for the future dates(by room and revenue by segment and day) based on the RM referenced systems recommendations and a daily monitoring of the data (portfolio, booking pick-up,events, calendar events)

PRICING, PLANNING & DISTRIBUTION OPTIMISATION

• Take daily decisions to optimise the hotel turnover. Decisions in terms of pricing, inventory management (RMLs open/close), group quotation, distribution channels... Ensure that these recommendations are implemented in reservation and reception, and that systems (PMS, CRS/TARS, RMS) are updated accordingly. 

REVPRO CULTURE

• Ensure that a “RevPRO culture” is spread in the hotel, through the animation of weekly yield meetings and regular coaching and training sessions for the hotel teams 

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

The Role

Purpose of the post

The Research Assistant/Research Associate (RA) will be involved in an ethnographic and historical study that investigates the urban heat experiences and practices of Singapore households. The RA’s principal role will be to recruit participants, participate in multi-method physiological-ethnographic fieldwork investigations (physio-ethnography), conduct ethnographic and oral history interviews, data entry and analysis, interview transcription and drafting of publications and reports.

• Configure and enhance the Fiori Launchpad with tiles, catalogs, and groups to create a personalized and efficient entry point for applications.

About the ASEF Executive Office

The Executive Office (EO) supports the Executive Director and the Deputy Executive Director. Management decisions based on policy guidelines set out by the ASEF Board of Governors are implemented through the Executive Office. It is responsible for determining ASEF’s strategic objectives as well as for enhancing its performance. About the Position

The Executive Assistant provides a full range of secretarial support to ASEF’s Senior Management (SM), namely, the Executive Director and the Deputy Executive Director. He/She is responsible for all tasks related to the Executive Office Operations, Stakeholder Management, and upkeep of data.
