Use your powerful stories to change lives. We’re looking for a highly-driven individual who is deeply passionate about non-profit work and can leverage on the power of social media to widen our organisation’s impact.
As Habitat for Humanity Singapore’s go-to person for communications and marketing, you’ll be in charge of being the voice for our organisation, the work we do and for vulnerable families in need of better living conditions.
You’ll be working with our go-getting Resource Development team to push a strong content-first strategy that will continue developing Habitat Singapore’s online brand image and awareness for campaigns, partnerships and online public fundraising.
Responsibilities
â—Ź Manage all aspects of branding and social media strategy across all our platforms
â—Ź Work closely with the programmes team to produce original content and continue building up our bank of case study stories by interviewing homeowners, supporters and partners
● Craft & prepare content for Habitat Singapore’s monthly newsletter
â—Ź Conceptualise and execute online digital fundraising campaigns
â—Ź Manage all media inquiries, features and interviews
â—Ź Build relationships and pitch stories with various media platforms, traditional & digital
â—Ź Manage all aspects of communications and publicity for volunteering opportunities, events and campaigns, including designing electronic direct mailers (EDMs) and collaterals
â—Ź Monitor & manage key digital marketing tools like Social Media Ads, Google Ads, Google Analytics and Google SEO
● Manage relationships with our celebrity ambassadors in promoting Habitat Singapore’s brand presence on social media
â—Ź Manage all areas of communications across the organisation including ensuring all collateral adheres to brand guidelines, maintaining the website, etc.
Required proficiencies:
â—Ź Skilled in conducting interviews and writing impactful human-interest stories
● Experience with running marketing campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn, and can demonstrate a good knowledge of the platforms’ features, audiences & objectives
â—Ź Able to understand and draw useful insights the back-end analytics of the social media platforms, including Google Analytics
â—Ź Excellent command of English and conversational Mandarin
A successful candidate would be someone who:

â—Ź Has at least 2-3 years of experience in a social media and content creation role
â—Ź Has a passion for non-profit work and serving vulnerable communities
â—Ź Is motivated and can take initiative to drive and manage projects independently
â—Ź Has good organisation and multitasking skills
â—Ź Has excellent interpersonal skills to work across departments and with our beneficiaries
It would be a plus if you have some ability in:

â—Ź Graphic design
â—Ź Local dialects and/or languages
