About the Job

We are looking for a dynamic and forward looking professional who has a track record of building employee capability and engagement, full spectrum of HR admin management and improving processes.

Leading a team of 3, you would need build capability in your team and inspire others to improve the way we do things. A strong administrator yourself, you should have experience with improvement projects using approaches such as business process re-engineering, lean management or leveraging on IT to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Managing your team, your key responsibilities will include general admin to ensure excellent functioning of the CYG corporate support and the meeting of children's homes licensing and funding requirements, employee engagement and organisational development, full suite of HR administration covering recruitment/retention, maintenance of employee records, supporting DHQ HR in payroll accuracy, talent management and staff development.

Details of key responsibilities are as follows:

1. Lead HR and admin team in a way where processes, admin and HR practices are effective, efficient and of high standards
2. Conduct regular reviews of SOPs and Admin processes to realise efficiency gains and improve effectiveness
3. Ensure that statutory, government and funding requirements of CYG and children's homes are met for admin and HR.
4. Be a thought partner to the management team on HR and admin matters.
5. Oversee a full spectrum of HR admin including:
   • Support in manpower planning.

· To ensure compliance with voyage instruction and to guide vessel master in accordance to the governing CP.

· Liaise with purchasers, vessel Superintendent and logistical service providers on planning for loading / unloading / transshipment of stores and spares.

· Monitor and review actual fuel consumption of vessels against budgeted consumption to ensure cost effectiveness.

· Monitoring vessel’s movement and performance and report to related parties.

· In any dispute against counterparty such as cargo damage or shortage, lay-time, underperformance and so on, to communicate for settlement based on charter party

· Monitor and support all vessels on operational issues (Loading / discharging / tank cleaning / grade change) (Under guidance from Marine Supt)

· Assist with post fixture activities as required (Cargo documentation (BL’s / LOI’s, Cargo quantity issues, Additional Insurance requirements (AWRP / KnR) (Under guidance from Marine Supt as required)

· Bunker ROB / Requirements of the vessel. Including notification to charterers (if required) and Intake quantity + segregation onboard. (Under guidance from Tech Supt and advise from Master as required)

· Agency appointment (as required) on owners’ behalf.

· To monitor the speed & consumption of all vessels to comply with respective Charter party requirements.

· Collect Customer Feedback.
