The Quality Division drives efforts to uplift the quality of care and promote a culture of continuous improvement in the Community Care sector.

Within the Division, the Quality Systems & Planning team conducts research and identifies quality indicators, standards and useful tools that could be applied to the Community Care sector. The team’s current focus areas include quality measurement, quality assurance and building a quality culture within the Community Care sector, working closely with AIC Divisions, Community Care Organisations (CCOs), Regional Health Systems, Ministry of Health (MOH), and other stakeholders.

1. Drive and manage programmes and initiatives, which include a quality assurance programme, aimed at raising standards of care in the community care sector. This includes

a. Planning, executing and managing a pilot to implement a quality assurance programme and drive the adoption of suitable international standards with a few CCOs

b. Managing the budget, procurement and contract matters with the appointed international standards body (ISB)

c. Assist in the development of the evaluation approach for the pilot as well as data collection for the programme evaluation

2. Identify areas for capability building following the assessments conducted by the ISB and develop relevant resources with the aim of enabling the CCOs to address the areas for improvement and work towards achieving the standards.

3. Identify and propose changes to the quality assurance programme, if required, after the evaluation to enable us to better meet the intended objectives and extend the programme to more CCOs in the sector. This will include

a. Securing funding to support more CCOs as they embark on quality assurance

4. Drive and manage initiatives to support CCOs to meet the new regulatory requirements set out by MOH, which may include reviewing and putting in place training programmes to strengthen CCOs’ organizational capabilities.

5. Drive and manage quality planning efforts for the community care sector, which will include co-developing strategies and initiatives with the CCOs to uplift quality of care.

What you will do:

The mission of the People Team is to build high-performing teams in OGP to make an impact on public good. We hire, motivate, and develop good people. We organise them to function well in teams. We work closely with organisation leaders to make this happen. We iterate and experiment on our policies and mechanisms to keep making OGP better.

Your role as a People Team member will be to make this happen by being a Business Partner to teams. This means working with team leads to run hiring pipelines, craft people policies, diagnose team health and plan team interventions, tackle organisation design & development matters, and optimise operations.

For this role specifically, you will bring expertise in organisation development and team health to uplift people practices for OGP. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (Describe the major responsibilities of this position)

Duties and Responsibilities

Defining and Articulating the Product Vision and Strategy:

• Translating business goals and user needs into a clear product vision and strategy. This involves understanding the organization's objectives, identifying user needs and pain points, and crafting a compelling vision that aligns these elements.
• Defining the target business domain, product positioning, and key features.
• Communicating the product vision and strategy to stakeholders. This involves engaging with stakeholders, including executives and team members, to ensure alignment for the product direction.

Managing the Product Backlog and Prioritizing Features:

• Gathering and analyzing user feedback, market trends, and competitive insights to identify product opportunities. This involves conducting user research, monitoring industry trends, and analyzing competitor offerings to uncover areas for improvement and innovation.
• Prioritizing product features based on their impact on business objectives, user needs, and technical feasibility. This involves evaluating each feature based on its potential return on investment, user value, and technical complexity to determine its priority in the development roadmap.
• Managing the product backlog, grooming and refining user stories and acceptance criteria. This involves maintaining a prioritized list of product features, ensuring that user stories are clear, concise, and measurable, and refining acceptance criteria to define clear success metrics.

Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams:

• Working closely with the development team to ensure features are implemented according to specifications. This involves providing detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and mockups to guide development efforts and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Collaborating with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to align product development with overall business goals. This involves coordinating with various departments to ensure that the product aligns with marketing campaigns, sales channels, and engineering capabilities.
• Facilitating communication and resolving conflicts between teams, ensuring seamless product development. This involves fostering open communication, addressing concerns promptly, and mediating disputes to maintain a productive and collaborative environment.

Monitoring Product Performance and Measuring Success:

• Establishing product success metrics and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs). This involves defining metrics such as user engagement and user satisfaction to measure product effectiveness.

Serving as the Voice of the User:

• Advocating for the user's needs throughout the product development process. This involves representing the user's perspective, ensuring that their needs are considered in design decisions, and championing user-centric solutions.
• Gathering and analyzing user feedback to ensure the product meets their expectations. This involves collecting feedback through various channels, such as surveys, interviews, and support interactions, to understand user pain points and satisfaction levels.
• Communicating user needs and pain points to the development team to prioritize solutions. This involves sharing user feedback with the development team to ensure that their priorities align with the most pressing user needs and concerns.

Experience Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in product development or a related field.
• Experience in Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Experience in prioritizing and managing a product backlog.
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing.

Technical Skills:

• Understanding of software development processes.
• Familiarity with product management tools, such as Jira.
• Basic understanding of data analytics and user research methods.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong customer focus and ability to advocate for user needs.

• Degree holders preferred

3. Work Experience (years of experience in the industry and functional area - is a must have)

• Minimum 3-4 years container shipping experience, preferably with experience in Business Process Management
• Must be Agile Scrum Team members in CLT/OTSV
• Must have work with relevant business users in ONE globally including offshore teams
• Must know GHQ P&N GVO & C&I BPIT teams
• Able to work with Regional Vessel Operation and BPIT teams

Requirements

• Diploma and above in Sales & Marketing, Business or equivalent;

• Bilingual in English (National Language) & Mandarin (due to large number of SMEs owners are Mandarin speaking)

Job Description

• Translate requirement into test scenarios and test cases
• Liaise with key stakeholders to confirm on the test coverage
• Getting sign-off for all test deliverables to close-off the testing cycle

• Proven experience as an SAP Business Analyst, with expertise in SAP modules relevant to the organization (e.g., SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW).
• Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate them into SAP solutions.
• Experience in SAP implementation, configuration, and support.
• SAP certification(s) is a plus.
